Rob - I would love to see a top 5 or 10 dungeon crawl games list from you.
I second this fully, and I am seriously considering opening a second account so that I can third this as well.
But seriously, I find myself stuck between games as I am looking for a go-to dungeon crawler ("Do I go with Descent, or with Dungeon Saga, or do I circle back and get a copy of Heroquest on eBay, or ..." etc.), and I think that your gift for cogent analysis would help people in such a position as I find myself in currently.

Great video review Rob, thanks for sharing. I think you have diagonal movement explained incorrectly however. You can move diagonally if a square on ONE side of the diagonal is blocked;
"Models may move diagonally as long as movement into **ONE OF** the squares either side of the diagonal would be permitted."
So having a single square blocked does NOT prevent diagonal movement :)

Hey Rob, great review. I've just recently bought Dungeon Saga and its first expansion and I am very eager to get it played. Loved Descent, but it never felt like a successor to WarhammerQuest, but more like its own, distinctively American thing - even though I would say it's a better game overall. With DungeonSaga I hope I get the flair of early Games Workshop combined with super-easy gameplay :)

Thanks for the great review Rob. I was hoping Dice Tower would eventually get to this one. I've seen Rodney's review a few months ago and I'm looking forward to buying this one when it comes up here (Montreal). Models I don't usually judge. The game is good, that's all that matters.
The game looks really fun! If I picked up the base set would I have everything I need to get started, or to phrase it differently what add on packs should I pick up so I have enough of everything to get started?

Rob, can you comment on the balance between heroes and necromancer? Does the necromancer need to play as a DM/director or can he go all out? Thx.
How does a Hero become Legendary as shown behind the Hero card?
You have skill in explaining how to play games. Non-intimidating, simple and easy to understand. If gamers could explain a game as charismatically as you have, we would have more gateway gamers coming to our hobby. well done!

This kind of watches more like a rules explanation rather than a review. Keep at it though.
