  • We're planning a 10-day hike in the Job/Cline P.L.U.Z. in August, and we needed to gather some intelligence on the trail conditions along Coral Creek and the north shore of the Cline River. Geoff JT and I spent 3-days backpacking in this area. We had to ford the creek on a daily basis and spent a lot of time bushwhacking and generally looking for the trail. This is a gorgeous area that's hard to penetrate.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad you likes it. Is there any topic you'd like me to focus on in the coming months? I'm always looking for ideas from viewers. Cheers.

We spent nearly an hour evaluating the Cline, and trying to determine if there was any way we could ford it. In the end, we all agreed it wasn't worth the risk. From a distance it looked deceptively low and easy to ford. Up close gave us a whole new perspective.

Looking forward to exploring more of this area. If anyone is looking to hike Job/Cline or White Goat you NEED to get yourself a map from Fording River Publishing. Such a good map, jam packed with great info (camps, fords, GPS trail markers, etc).

We're going to put a dent in that map this summer. I'm so looking forward to it. Let's leave lots of time in the itinerary to explore and/or just sit and take it in. I have a feeling the area further inland is spectacular.

Great video! I really appreciate the simplicity of your videos. No annoying music, or excessive talking.
I watch other hikers adventures but appreciate yours the best. They’re pure hiking at its best. Thanks!

Thank ou so much for the great feedback. My videos are "low budget" productions, so it's always nice to hear that my style is appreciated. Cheers.

Looks like you were taking a lot of footage of your GoPro facing back at your feet and lower body. Was that deliberate or happy accident? Was a POV I hadn’t seen much before

Deliberate. Wanted to show the trail and the pollen.
