Nice, pretty slick kit. There is a place here in Tulsa called 12v Solutions that has a kit that’s similar. It’s a bit more simple, only one extra wire to connect to the module, the delay seems a bit shorter, and you hit the lock button 3 times to start the truck. I think they also sell a horn delete kit that disables the honk on the second and third push of the lock button.

I don't understand why yours works, done the sequence multiple times and still can't get it to start.... It says I have low break fluid but my fluid is max
What do you do to start driving the truck, can you just hop on and put it in drive or you gotta insert key still, turn it to put it in drive reverse etc

Does this module work with the climate controls? Does it turn the ac on when hot outside and heat on when cold outside?
Mine did not. I but that's also cause my wife always turns off the fan and heat I'll let you know

I can’t find the “clip” to disconnect the wires from the OBD I’ve messed with it for over an hour and can’t find a way to get it to release. Has anyone else had this issue? I’m not an idiot when it comes to this stuff either. I’ve been doing more serious mods than this myself to my vehicles since I started driving.

I had the same issue. Make sure the door is closed and the window is up. It'll work. Set your ac setting where you want them and leave em that way.
I just installed mine yesterday and it works great but when I unlock my door and open it, I have to put the key in it INSTANTLY or it shuts off. Any ideas?
Don’t touch the brake
Mine doesn’t work. Red light goes on, blue light flashes. Nothing happens. Then the red and yellow light stay on
What’s the difference between the two options available?
I think it depends if you have push button start or turn key start, not white sure on that one
I just got this it woks only once then it won’t start, I would need to reprogram to make it work one more time any ideas ?

Disregard you can do both. Just put the key in the same way as the 1st one.

Great video but one suggestion is to not cut away , just do a straight install all the way through.

How long will the remote start run for. Will it time out after 5-10 minutes?
Good question, not sure, I havnt kept it on that long only a few minutes
Mine unlocked the factory settings as well (different kit but similar operation). So I can change mine to either 5,10, or 15 minutes and also choose whether I want it to use my last heating/cooling setting or auto. I dont know if the Auto actually does anything because if it is in that setting the fan is on the lowest setting and I cant tell if it adjust between heat/cooling based on ambient conditions. I just leave it set to "previous settings" because I usually only use it in extreme heat or extreme cold and the setting are most likely on heat in the cold and AC in the summer. The biggest thing is in the winter the heater is already blowing hot when I get in it to drive and the windshield is already starting to defrost

When it starts it does not turn on the heat or ac. Why?
Were you able to figure it out? I just did mine but heater does not turn on. Had to push the start button once for the heater to work. I bought this for the reason to heat up my car especially during winter.
Don’t like the idea of leaving it plugged into the OBD port
Into the back, OBD port is still fully functioning
