I hope this game will let you make your own Na'vi and if you are a Forest Na'vi or a Water Na'vi or a new Na'vi we haven't seen in the movies yet
nah, The world of pandora is too big for that. We are probably getting a Forest na'vi Omaticaya most prolly cuz the end shot signified that. I really hope we get movie locations too
I heard the third film will feature fire Na'vi/Ash People.
@@aithelchristo Maybe that will be DLC locations like in far cry 5, but if that is the case hopefully it will still be open world and explorable
I bet they won't introduce "new" na'vi (water ones and new ones that we will 1st see in movie) mostly because this game started development before 2nd movie premiere. Maybe if there will be a sequel, but in general I feel like Cameron wants to keep other kinds of na'vi as a suprise for the movies and it makes sense in plot that humans had the most contact with forest na'vi, exploration of waters of Pandora started only after sky people came back.
I guess we'll see
There's confirmed full character customization, and that we will be in a completely new area of pandora that we've never seen before. So I'm assuming we will see Na'vi that are similar to what we've seen before but with different lifestyles
•Collect the seeds of the Tree of Souls (2/100)
•Connect with the trees of Vision (1/35)
•Destroy human bases (5/21)
•Gather legendary animal hides (4/14)

agree, they're making a huge mistake not adding third-person mode.
yeah.. im curious about the game, but a huge pity that it wont be 3rd person :( it would be much better to see ourselves as well.
Third person + Photomode would be cool
I just heard that it's in FPS and came here to see if anyone else dissapointment with the news. A game like this should be in third person, first person is great, but I don't think it'll do justice to this beautiful world
@@MrJeeni007 it is FPS.. i guess you meant that. And yeah, year or two ago or when this was announced, when I heard it is FPS, my excitement for this crashed super low .. i like FPS games, but Avatar is one of those games that beg to be in third person to see your own character and also to have a photomod to shoot it.
@@Patrix8558 Yeh I meant FPS. And you are absolutely right my friend. It should be in third person. The Navi's are not just about bows and arrows. I really enjoyed the first game. The combat was really good.
I actually cannot explain how hyped and excited I am right now, this hopefully will be one of the best games ever and will mabey get a sequel, I also hope you can pick a tribe or can explore other tribes and stuff
Fr, the movie was literally made to be an RPG world exploration game. I hope they will put as much effort into this as they did in AC Odyssey, cause my god, game was done perfectly for that purpose
Lowkey wishing this game breaks expectations and be actually good.
same
Maybe it’s a good thing it’s Ubisoft. Our expectations are low but imagine if they blow our minds.
If it runs smoothly, it'll probably look great. Even if the story is bad, I can imagine flying archery to be fun. I hope it isn't too easy either. I can't imagine it being easy to fight the Humans, but I can see Ubisoft making it easy.
Honestly, worst case scenario is that this is just another Ubisoft open world game but with an Avatar skin, and frankly I wouldn't even be mad about that. Gameplay aside they still have a good track record for making detailed worlds (at least in my opinion)
im hoping its visually stunning.
Avatar set a bar in movies, it should be the same in games. Ubisoft will really have to push themselves
Please make it something more than just an avatar vs soldiers game. Make it roleplay or have roles, hunting, open world. Proximity chat, there is so much interesting in that world to flesh out, please make a good game and grafics dont matter that much. Just make a hella good game. This eye candy is superficial, but if its a good game, no one should feel scammed.
I want something like Skyrim but in the Na'vi universe, a lot of lore and stuff
in case you are not familiar with Ubisoft games, they are ALWAYS massive open world games, most of the time single player with co op option. Don't worry about that.
Dude, hell no. Why do all games now have to be open worlds, have meaningless side quests, hunting, roleplay with horrible A.I and so on? In specific games that worked, like Assassins Creed GTA or Skyrim, but now ALL games are the same and most of them don't know how to do it right, making the game slow and boring. Sometimes a linear and entertaining game is fine, I don't know since when this format became equal to a bad game, a GOOD game doesn't have to last 80 hours and be exaggeratedly huge, as long as the game offers something new (How very well that would be today, with so much copy), be entertaining and memorable, I am satisfied.
Please Ubisoft, just take your time for this
@@jolopolo4761 Is just that I can't imagine a non open world for a game that takes place in Pandora, I think it may work the best with a format like Pokemon Leyends, multiple zones but each zone is open.

The only creature I care about having is the Banshee. I’d love to climb in the mountains and have one choose me and then tame it and fly around Pandora exploring, fighting, hunting, etc.
Far cry primal then?
with more glitches than cyberpunk and GTA Definitive trilogy combined.
I honestly think Avatar lends itself really well to Open-World exploration/ action adventure games. The world is so vast and varied and we've only scratched the surface of it so far. I really hope this game does well as there is so much potential in this universe for untold stories, unseen places and brand new ideas overall.
I still have fond memories playing the Avatar game on 360 back in the day, starting out as an RDA Avatar driver and either choosing to side with the RDA or to join the Na'vi. I fricking loved that game.
You and me both. Good game, great movie. I loved the concept and its world.
Great overview
Yessss I have the original game for PC and still play it every now and then and it's so awesome!
I think I might be the only person who is extremely disappointed that this is a first-person game. I used to love first-person games (I still do, but I used to, too.) when I was younger but there's something magical about playing an action-adventure game in third-person perspective. I much prefer to actually see what my character actually looks like while wandering around in the game world. Even in this amazing cinematic trailer, the only moments that were off-putting for me was when we got the brief segments of when it switched into first-person mode and I was thinking "omg! PLEASE don't let this game be first-person!" because the rest of the trailer is exactly the game I want to play!
It's really too bad. This is also the reason I haven't purchased Cyberpunk 2077 yet, too. I just don't want to play an open-world game in first-person perspective anymore. Other than that (albeit a major one) complaint, I think this game actually looks amazing!
@@gustafsone I know how you feel but to me immersion skyrockets in first person makes it feel like I’m controlling my actions instead of another being
Imagine a first person avatar game that would be insane, and you get to choose what side your on or if your human or not, also you play with other players
This trailer looks amazing. I really hope they add a feature to tame almost any animal with certain foods or items that animal likes. If they don’t do that and only allow the player to keep the three basic creatures that’s still going to be a vibe.
I'd love to be able to ride that giant predator like he did in the first movie
It’s not going to be by food but what they use in their hair to connect to the animal I’m the first place as showed in the movie. That’d be exciting
Damn, this might come out before the actual second movie does.
Hey Gabe, you can atleast count to two!
Ironically this is probably true :/
I think it will probably be in about the same month. - If not like November with the movie in December, so that the game acts as marketing or something.
Could be cool if it acts like a prequel or to get people back into the world of Avatar again. - They've waited so long with the sequels that there are entire new teens again. - Think about it; If one was born when 'Avatar' came out, they're now at least a decade old. XD - And hey, they might love the movie. I hope so, cause it's more than spectacle.

Never understood the hate Ubisoft gets. I personally enjoy most of their games.
Ubisoft tends follow the same template for almost all their projects that if you played some of their series you basically played future releases as well, not to mention they heavily monetize them to hell & back that it pisses people off
@@bamban_garcia5562 that’s probably why I like them then. I personally like the formula they use for their game. The monetization does suck though but at least it’s mostly cosmetics or DLCs
@@braydenmcglone3809 Might want to rethink that statement considering their titles require -xp boosters- to somewhat negate their built in grind not to mention said "dlcs" is actually just cut content being resold for maximum profits
@@bamban_garcia5562 XP boosters take the fun out the game anyways. The grind is the entire point. And pretty much every game has DLCs nowadays so it’s not just a Ubisoft thing.
@@braydenmcglone3809 Some grind might be fine but not if it takes you several hours to level up every time without it, while true dlc is the norm now not every publisher has you paying $70 for the most cut version, $80 to $90 for the so slightly less cut version, or $120 for the actual complete product that was divided in several parts to be sold on top of $40 to $50 season passes for even more cut content
God Of War Ragnarok a complete product with no season pass or overpriced dlc most should be like that
Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment has you grinding 20 to 30 hours on a single character without their xp boosters or less then 4 hours with it on their Injustice titles, full roster is 38 characters in total that equals to 760 hours or 1,140 hours in total
Tell me again how is being sold the solution the same publisher invented to extort consumers of more money a good thing
PLEASE give us VR support for this game.
It would be so magical do experience it more first hand than through a flat screen.
Nah.
It would be great to choose whether you're a Human or Na'vi or a Half-breed and to customize how you look and to choose which side you're on, and it would be incredible to decide what clan you come from if you're Na'vi, and this game has have to Multiplayer and should have role systems and hunting and maybe even building but I think building would be a bit of stretch (as in building I mean building your home and furnishing it or something like that) it should have crafting like crafting a bow or spear and being able to upgrade it, it should have open world, proximity chat and idk a tiny bit of RPG but you should be able to choose your own path, but overall this game looks amazing and I'll definitely play it.
like you said it would be amazing if you could pick what species you could be
id play it if the game is how you explained it lmao
In the old Xbox game you got that choice. You basically got a gun and then a bit later in the game from the beginning you got the choice who you wanted to kill: a human or a Na’vi. Whoever you would kill would become your enemy. I really liked that idea and I think it’s wayyyy better then if it where to be some dialoge choice
definitely not human tho lol, humans cant breath pandora air long and would have to have and infinite air supply which could break immersion, plus you just wouldn't be able to climb anything, would be cool if the hardest difficulty was "human mode" where you are at a severe disadvantage, trying to live an ecosytem designed to kill you
Ironicly in the first game the human campaign was surprisingly easier since later you got wepons that bassicly tore through plants like the flamethrower and you had that airstrike ability that bassicly slaughtered large groups of Navi. Especially the nail gun that thing tore through anything especially the max upgraded one. And I loved every second of it.
This game takes me to a journey into the past when the movie just released
And if you look at the actual game graphics as a contrast to this trailer, Ubisoft will once again be the downgrade king.

Iv'e been waiting 4 years for this ! When they first announced the project, i didn't even think it was a game just some kind of spin off tv series... Wow, this is a dream come true :)
Me too bro
Na’vi: I will raid all those human outpost, far cry style
Na’vi
I think a game like this would be best as a primarily single-player game. That way you get the most out of the detail, frame rate, and just everything else. Open world for sure. I think something similar to Skyrim. Open world with main and side quest. We can have a second option for online gameplay similar to GTA5. Open world but not as detailed with NPCs but other players can interact with you. You have different missions and game modes.
this is the only game i need to be released, they can throw away all the others coming, just NEED this omg
I hope we have a character customization feature because I would love to see everyones Na'vi!! Mostly I just really want a good game with a good story
Man, I watched the way to water, and it was splendid, amazing experience. This game has to be really good.
I know, I watched it and while it's no way near as good as the first one it was very enjoyable to watch, I would love this to be something like a simulator where you live your life as a Navi, and you just get thrown into combat situations from time to time, while I like open world RPGs like Shadow of Mordor that type of formula would not work for this game, I also hope that you can choose the clan you want to, I know most people would want to fly the Ikran but the oceans would be sick to explore as well.
@@seancollins8681 really? I thought it was way better than the first.
@@bluecricket6157 Hard for me to explain but I just found the first one better, I did thoroughly enjoy the continuation of the story, but I think I liked the action scenes in the first one more.
@@seancollins8681 ur trippin on the action parts😭 but i agree, the first one had and still has this intense feeling of pure magic that ion think J.C will ever be able to replicate
Bro its Ubisoft 😭
So many good games coming out this year and so on. Howard's, avatar, a new open world starwars game still in planning stage. I can't wait
I hope there is character customisation so you can really put yourself into the world
Just saw the way of water, now I want this game even more now.
Just saw, now, now.
The second you turn it on the second it's gonna crash, name one game completely polished ubisoft game. I'll wait
Remember kids: It's Ubisoft, and what does it mean? No trust and no pre-orders.
@Will Olivine fanboy detected
@@mrcrazyenough007 lock and load
@Will Olivine someone's out of touch with reality
@Will Olivine by having shitty takes. Simple as
I would say this if it was cd projekt red, no way in hell i Will trust and i will not pre-order even if they make the witcher 4
As long as our Na'vi is fully customizable, I'm good
Id literally just love an open world survival exploration type game. Be able to just live in the world as a navi of your own and go through many of the cultural milestones they do as well. Bonding with animal companions/mounts and such like that. Being able to choose which tribe you are from, such as water or forest tribes. Maybe bonding with one of those whales for example. Customizing them and their personality like that one that liked music, and so on. Maybe spicing it up with some of the action vs humans and predators or what ever every once and awhile.
Literally just want to live in that world... Fear it is just going to be some weird generic action adventure thing.
I can’t wait for the “trailer vs release” video comparison :-)
Crowbcat is just rubbing his hands at the sight of this.
It looks like it all in-engine ,,, but since it’s ubi, no trust and no preorder for sure
This looks interesting but yeah the gameplay and graphics will be downgraded 😑
Look like far cry6. So shity graphics for 2021 hope they fix.
Same
The old Avatar game made me love the movie even more. And that was like 10 years ago.
Same.
I played that one in 2013.
The old not bad if they could remake or remaster it any details is such perfect only gameplay system and little but main in Avatar details nonsense
I would much rather wait longer for an excellent game than having them launch it fast but not fix the bugs and glitches
dont kid yourself, it will still release buggy and broken like every other modern game
Ubisoft missed the perfect time to release this game. There's a lot of hype for Avatar right now. If the game came out at the same time as the premiere of the film - it would probably be a success.
If the game isn’t ready and you need time to finish it, no problem. But if you could release sample gameplay / new trailer with gameplay and release date, it would also look very good from the marketing side at this point.
People can’t get enough of Avatar though…so releasing it in a non movie year could be more profitable….there’s movies lined up for 2024,26,28
I want this game to make me feel like am there for real, in Pandora.
I want to climb mountains, dive under water, explore the world of Pandora. And a amazing story, caracters, music.
Thanks for all the likes !

They MUST take as much time as they need. As long as the final product will be like you just described
If it won't be like "Hogwarts: Legacy" (open world, graphics, etc.), then y'all can keep it. It HAS to be open world, because I guess there are a lot of people who often simply wanna check out that incredible world without killing ish 🤷♂️
It is an open world game for next gen only
It’s Ubisoft, when was the last time they made a game that wasn’t open world?
If you seatch avatar on xbox you can find the game page and read a brief descripton about what the game is :)
Open world shouldn’t be your main problem since it’s Ubisoft it will be open world, you should be worried with how empty the open world will be
@@malachicooper2798 exactly like this dude never seen a ubisoft game in his life
el mundo de pandora y el lore de avatar da mucho material para hacer uno de los mejores rpg jamas hechos
Goodness, I am so excited for this game! Take all the time y'all need with developing it, I want to see it in all it's glory!
I would love it if we get to create and customize our own Na'vi! Change their looks, hairstyle, clothes, etc!
An open world of this? It would be absolutely beautiful! We'd be all staring at the scenery and animals for hours!
Imagine if we could even choose our clans, or be able to travel from clan to clan.
So much potential for this game, I'm interested to see how it goes!
This was unexpected, awesome
Wait for expected downgrade.
They showed a teaser not long ago. And as John says. Expect a graphical downgrade.
When they were going to the one more thing I genuinly was expecting something about their Star Wars game.
Announced in 2017...
@@JohnJohnson-wg1ev Ubi doesn't downgrade anymore.
