We had the opportunity to play Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora for more than two hours. In this gameplay clip, we're showing several different missions from the work-in-progress version of the game. Frontiers of Pandora, created by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft, shares some RPG elements of The Division and open-world mechanics from Far Cry. You'll recognize some familiar gameplay features, such as clearing outposts and bases. However, one significant difference is that, as a Na'vi, you'll need to depend on stealth and speed to take on the RDA, who possess mech suits, VTOL light attack aircraft, guns, rockets, and grenade launchers. Stealth in the game also involves the ability to hack electronics and RDA AMP suits. Additionally, there's Na'vi vision, which allows players to navigate the environment and find items like plants and animals without relying as much on a world map. One unique feature of the game is your ability to call a flying mount, an ikran, at any time. Riding an ikran allows you to enter aerial combat, skydive, and explore several regions of the world, including deep jungles, sky islands, and a hometree. Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on December 7. - Hry

Wait, a game looks less graphically impressive than its vertical slice hype piece? Shocking.
This part of the world they're in is being controlled by RDA it looks like, and that's why it looks so dull. But if you go watch this same gameplay in 4k, it looks dramatically better. The colors just seem off because of the area and time of day. My only disinterest in it is because it just seems like another generic ubisoft game with an Avatar skin on it.
Probably one of the coolest and most iconic character designs, and they made it a first person.🤦🏻♂️ This is like if Insomniac made Spider-Man a first-person game.

I wouldn't oppose the idea of playing Spider-Man in first person. PS5 has a VR2 that's just sitting there doing nothing and being used as paperweight.

Nothing about this gameplay showcase blew me away or kept me interested. It feels formulaic and uninspired. Also, the Graphics look like a past gen game, i know graphics should not be the main focus, but this is AVATAR we are talking about, the avant garde of visual fidelity in the movie industry. If Ubisoft needs to cautivate new audiences, this ain't it, chief. Was hoping for something more interesting, but it feels so familiar and like something i've already played.

Magnificent Creatures tall blue species Called Na'vi's and then there's a
Military Base That Is Called RDA Human
Marines loaded with weapons & gunships
And they also have AMP Suits and Also
Some Humans we're giving new bodies
By waking up Inside the Avatar form
And then there is Eywa the great mother
The Spirit of Pandora who watches over
But this was well made by James Cameron
He is the best director by making
The First Movie & The Second Movie

I think what makes avatar hard to make into a game is that all the world building is what makes it good and all the action is generic. In a game it needs to be mostly action while in books and movies I feel like you can get away with a lot of slow world building for a big payoff. My hope is that there are a lot of moments among the Nav'ii and that you can switch between 1st and 3rd player. Voices also sound a little bored/not into it but I don't know why though lol. When we getting an indiana jones game man?

This is a build from almost a year ago. The game coming out in a week is way more polished.

You really should be able to play as the rda would give the game more players and make it more fun
Id be kinda cool but you would have to esentialy make a whole diffrent game. a new Story remove mounts and make vehicles remove the senses and parkour plus the rda are meant to be bad guys just play farcry at that point
