Everything that happened or being put in Frontiers of Pandora must be LORE WISE as this game is canonical to movies. So this is not just a Far Cry game, its an Avatar game visioned by James Cameron. Everything must follow the creator.

Universes should be expanded on, especially for something like this.
Following the desire of the creator or not, it's dumb not to do a bit of innovation.
But Avatar isn't exactly an innovative property anyway... but that means the game needs to all the more.

a right handed bow is drawn with the right hand, you hold the bow in the left. They're using a left handed bow, maybe the designer was left handed or something

This basically feels like a reskin of Farcry
they explained basic game mechanics that have been implemented for years lol

Their tails are already stinky from all that tip swaddling and riding on the gravy train. Also don't tell me those little Na'Vi boys aren't accidentally touching their mom's tails with theirs. It's too easy
They need to expand the lore of weapons the Na'vi use and not just the movies. They should be looking to expand on the world and give us some stuff we have never seen before....buuut it's Ubisoft so it just looks really nice😂

You mean melee weapons like dual swords, battle hammers, and spears from 'James Cameron's AVATAR The Game'.
Or atleast spears, or the knife that every Navi has.
In the end guns and explosves are also crafted from natural resources. But what about negotiation with plants that can restrain the enemy, or lure them in traps and areas only the Na'vi know, perhaps attack in groups of little creatures or use massive beasts, or spirits, voodoo, spells, or some form of Divine interventions, levitation perhaps, mushrooms, magic mushroom, man it can be anything. It's a video game! Anything is possible, and indeed a great opportunity to expand on the lore.

We need more information on the world and general gameplay. How big is it, does it has proper side missions? Does it have rpg mechanics? What exactly is this game?
The minute it was announced, people were saying "Far Cry but blue" and, after seeing this recent gameplay, all they've shown is that visually it's Far Cry but blue. I'm not against that but there's got to be more to it, surely.

Alright. Alright. Props where it's due. Associating weapons with themes of the sides involved IS cool, especially how there are hybrids, like grenade arrows.

Gonna play this for the co-op alone.
Enjoy seeing the developers POV, Love the insight on the forethought in trying to make the game feel immersive and true. Developers honestly don’t get enough credit for all the work that goes into making these games for a seemingly unimpressed, unappeasable audience.

Super excited!! Seeing the movies and now being able to play it is an experience I'm happy to be a part of 💪
No melee weapons ?
best part is this. the story is you were young when you were captured by the RDA. Then they train you for years, some promotional trailers show 3 na'vi aiming down the sights of their rifles at a shooting range. In game however, you cannot aim down the sights of RDA weapons... despite being trained with with RDA weapons. Also, they really should of invented some new na'vi weapons because having only 2 na'vi weapons is.. well it's not a lot. Maybe the game does have more than 2 but I've only seen 2 so far.

So basically, you shoot things
4:18 to play with all the different options they have to give….and yet the option for 3rd person is non existent.
It's not a 3rd person game at all that's why if you don't like then move on and hate on something else

This game doesn't have any melee combat compared to far cry, so they didn't even manage to at least get the full combat package in the game
The world seems well built, the combat seems kinda half baked. Hopefully I'm proven wrong or they update later.

Rather play as humans, they get badass mech and helicopters. Plus alot of of weapons options and could even use a avatar that loyal to the humans so you can have fun with navi gimmicks to. Feel like they really held the players back with this game.

If there's a choice, then they should've made it optional to not play as Navi, but also as the RDA human characters so you could use the robot suits. Who knows, hopefully if overtime it goes through updates and dlc down the road it will work
