- I model the Imperial Valley of Southern California, more specifically El Centro, Seeley and Plaster City, CA. The layout is set in present day and the railroad company is SouthWestern Pacific Transportation Company. The trackage in the Imperial Valley is former Southern Pacific territory, which was purchased from Union Pacific in 1998, two years after the merger with the SP. SWP is a regional carrier with connections to Mexico.
Cool wig wag
This is the best HO scale wigwag I have seen so far. If you could get that banner to swing out a little more you would have it. I have a Magnetic Signal Co. manual from 1940 that shows the banner goes out about 31 degrees each way, for a total arc of 62 degrees. You have the scale of banner-to-motor box just about perfect. (I owned and restored 2 of the full-sized ones myself)
Love it! A type of signal You don't see much anymore. I wish they were more of them around.
Well done!
beautiful layout...love to come operate some equipment.
So two of your videos show amazing work! How about the rest of the layout? :)
I want something like that on my layout :))
MrChev95, what is the link to the shop where you got this model? I want it because it has a swinging motion, and nice bell sound.
Cool
Hi there. Great working model you have there. Other than the American Limited model kit, what parts did you use to make the signals work and the add sound? Thank you.
Been trying to get that wigwag since 1998. How were able to get it?
This is awesome. What make/model is the Wig Wag, and how did you light it up?
When are you going to show the crossing gates?
Nice Wig Wag! Just Wandering, Where did you get that Crossing with Southern Pacific on it at 0:35?
Come on,can't you show the gates
