Ironically Olay's argument is the best reason I've heard to vote for Buden and the most effective to get people to vote for him.
She's not relying on fear of Trump, rather focusing her rhetoric on "who do you want to fight."

As an immigrant, trump would also ruin my life. I probably would have to leave even though I’m here legally. This is the case for SO many of us. For Joe Biden to put all of us in this situation is disgusting, selfish, and vile.

@@elconquistador5469 personally, I don’t think people who refuse to abide by the social contract - respect for the results of an election or refusal to defend the constitution should be allowed to participate in that democracy. If the 14th amendment does not apply here, I’m not sure where it would apply to anyone.

@@adamhbrennan Olay is coming from the fight from within the system position, and it does exist. Is there ZERO ability to push legislators. No, it's not zero. That said, the unfairness of the fight. The fact that it's quite literally saying "I'm trying to manipulate an adversary" is disgusting and so far removed from the propaganda narrative of the system as "representative" and "of the people". We need better words. There's stuff like "plutocracy" but it's so esoteric. Part of the injustice is not even having words to properly describe the hellscape current forms of so-called "democratic" oppression we live under.

We shouldn't be in this situation, but there also times where you have no choice. I do believe in never settling for anything less from the establishment, always striving for bigger things and challenging the status quo no matter what, but there are times where you have no choice. I still push for getting the most progressive candidate possible, but just don't think the timing is right in this election for it. If Donald Trump wins later this year, then the idea of a Progressive ever winning won't happen under a permanent Trump American dictatorship and nothing more than an optical illusion.

And perhaps why settlers are comfortable seeing genocide joe as the lesser of 2 evils instead of an evil that doesn’t impact them personally.

They’re already willing to give the GOP their dream legislation for the sake of funding an overwhelmingly unpopular genocidal war.

I think it would be cool if this women to create an organization in the free market and advocate for regulation without the government or "social policies." She can also sue someone, the department of labor for the most part doesnt do very much, i feel when they do itd be more about following trends. I think they haven't won every lawsuit, its civil law with businesses. Oh god, imagine a 99% win rate for the government in this way. I think personally id enjoy that more then getting the government to write policies, im sure that could totally exist, she just cant print money to do it, she would need donations/investors and banks buy stock, but not organizations. She can also own an organization and business together.
I guess it's because I'm pretty libertarian I'd say this, plus I enjoy these things more then I would enjoy changing the world based off my every whim. I think it'd be interesting for someone like her to consider something like that though. I wish more people did stuff like that.

I don’t agree with this, the government does not change based on the administration wildly enough that they will be easier to fight legally.
