Hey guys!
Today we are at the Bai Hotel and we are experiencing a ALL YOU CAN EAT $12 Filipino buffet!! Alot of dishes guys and this interesting guy comes holding 2 buckets and it tasted like a oatmeal! So interesting haha Let me know what you think!
I'm Filipino and my beautiful Australian wife so loves Filipino food. Here in California. Also that's not hotdog lol that was Filipino sweet sausage loganiza.
Taho is basically is a soft tofu. if you have tried Japanese miso soup it sometime have tafu in it. so its a soft tofu with "arnibal" (caramelized brown sugar) and tapiocal pearls or mini boba.. very popular snack or as a breakfast replacement if you're on the go. typically being sold in the morning , office workers love often have taho to perk them up as it best served hot (but not coffee hot), it also nice to have taho after a jogging or a workout.
Taho is like a Tofu pudding in brown sugar syrup with Tapioca pearls. Yummy! Great when still hot and fresh or warm👍
The guy who served you did not explain further about the taho, it’s made with silken tofu, tapioca pearls and arnibal(brown sugar syrup), you see this served out in the streets early morning and can be also eaten as a breakfast as the vendors are already out early morning. The vendor usually would walk the streets shouting TAHO!
Dami mo sinsbe kaw nlng mag benta
But the guy said that it’s tofu sugar and tapioca lol
@@kristelfiore1330 but when she asked if it's for breakfast he did not say anything and said "it's a delicacy"
@@kristelfiore1330 then consider it as language barrier atleast he tries to communicate and the one who adjust even he's in his own country where English is not the first language
That guy is a poser! a legit taho vendor knows more. *Hahaha*
Jessica is so adorable 😍 eating philipino food
Thank you and thank you for watching our channel. Stay tune for more videos coming up :)
Loved the way you said its just a bun!! 😂😂
The spot you've been is just an average buffet place. Buffet spots in Manila has way more food options from breakfast to dinner choices, international and local dishes. If you have the budget you gotta try Spiral buffet in Sofitel Manila they even have their own wine and cheese room which is from different parts of the world. You can even create your own pizza with whatever toppings you can think of and cooked on a stone brick oven. They have way more sea food options than the average franchise buffet place scattered across the Philippines. Best time to be there is early lunch or early dinner coz every food served is hot and fresh from the kitchen.
Cebu is the queen city of the south❤❤❤❤❤I'm proud to be bisayang pinoy😂😂😂😂😂

Cheese is actually popular in the Philippines, heck they even have Cheese Ice Cream!
Really? And which is the most delicious Filipino cheese ? Filipino food looks so so goood 👌👌
Thanks for letting me know :)
@kristelfiore1330 you may want to try Kesong Puti, which is made from carabao milk. It is usually wrapped in banana leaves and served cold (it becomes liquidy in room temperature). The texture is similar to soft tofu.
@@E_l_l_i_e ohh wow it sounds delicious I have to try that cheese 👌😍 I love everything that is wrapped in banana leaves yummy thanks for you answer 😋👌

In filipino culture theres no cheese?! Thats ok. We forgive you.😊 love your personality by the way!❤
Thank you 😋. Im now learning that filipino cheese is actually popular :).
use spoon if u eat pilipino food.
A no leftover policy? 😢😤😅that’s what I hate from some buffets lol 😅 Well, it seems unfair to me because what if I don't like the food I served? Although on the other hand I understand their policy because it is horrible to waste food…..
That's why you take small servings first. Some people just take too much of something they don't know the taste of and then when they don't like it, they just leave a ton on their plates that just get thrown away. Reminds me of my buddy who took a whole plate of lamb then just left it after a bite since he didn't like the taste.
If I were you being a parent I should let my son eat first, then will continue showing some of the food they have. Your son seems to be hungry by now. 😮
I love philipne but dont like food. Means as a Pure veg its deficult to find good veg (without beef and mutton and pork is everywhere) resturant in there. 😢
Over acting! Hahaha!
Are you sure you’re in the Philippines? Because when you talked about cheese, the Philippines hash cheese wherever you go, Jessica, what are you talking about? You make it seem like the Philippines is this country that doesn’t have this and that, you can find cheese everywhere and yes, they do have cheese in the Philippines. They have dishes and desserts that has cheese, cheese is not hard to find in the Philippines just to let you know!
I think she meant the variety of cheeses MOST people eat.
Yeah, cheese is everywhere, but it's 80% cheddar, 20% others. (Mostly just goat, parmesan and mozzarella)
Yes, we have most other cheese as well but most people don't consume it. If you say you, your family or friends eat it, then you're most likely from a well off family/community.
SOY AND TOFU??? tofu is soy.
that's what's annoying sometimes with Filipinos explaining the food to foreigners. staff in the food service industry really need to train so they can do a better job at describing the food, especially that food vlogging is a common thing now. some people are really keen when it comes to the ingredients of the food they are and how they're cooked and if they don't really understand what's in it or how it's prepared, sometimes you don't get to set expectations properly.
taho is simply silken tofu, simple sugar (arnibal) and sago pearls or tapioca.
Why don’t you at least try to pronounce the Filipino words properly!!!
??? Whats wrong?
The Phoponno people
made from Soy and tofu? tofu is made from soy.
