These two men spoke very honestly and like true indigenous Africans. They are not like many who speculate and talk under western influence. I respect their intelligence. Unfortunately, it is too late.

I said it is too late because indigenous people are now awake. Whether as a region or as govt, the people have seen their leaders siding with the oppressors or colonialists, rather than fight for or protect their interest.
Whoever protects their interest will be their brother and their friend.

    Great interviewees and professional interviewing.
The rift between ECOWAS and Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger is ideological with substantial differences with respect to developmental strategies and models.

They also reject French dominance, and embrace a multipolar world inclusive of Russia, China and others to assist in solving their practical needs.

Your guests should have spent more time discussing economic integration. This is, I believe, the only way out. In 49 years, ECOWAS has failed to present a workable plan for a regional industrial project: for example, a West African car. Nigeria and Ghana have automotive industries. Could the ECOWAS commission think of expanding that to the region? An ordinary tourism vehicle has about eleven different systems. What are we waiting for? We got into this mess (especially terrorism) because ECOWAS did not understand that it had to make its members interdependent. Regional industrialization can make different stakeholders interdependent. If today Burkina, Mali and Niger are leaving it is because ECOWAS has lost its meaning. If other countries follow it will be because ECOWAS is not relevant any longer.

Prof. Falola, how do expect ECOWAS to function as expected, when 60% of its budget is from the EU and other Imperial powers. Can you please name any country in Africa that has been colonized by Russia 🇷🇺, instead Russia 🇷🇺 stood for some African countries when needed and they continue to do so.

The Nigerian presidents stand is very unfortunate and disappointing. For a long time, this countries have suffered poverty and humiliation in silence. Because of their silence, even the ecowas has not been working well. Because France has the power to manipulate the organization.
Today, they have resin to the occasion to say to the world, they cannot handle it anymore. They are in it. They say-enough. What part of this don’t the Nigerian understand. They leave in wealth. Someone say he can’t handle his situation anymore.Tinubu, what is your problem with this?

How can Nigeria be crying out about drug knowing their President Tinubu is a drug dealer for years?. Drug dealers promotes bribery to succeed not being arrested, that's what Tinubu has encouraged now in Nigeria communities recruiting only such people in his Gov't, same time takes France Macron as his personal adviser to really cement bad undemocratic governance in Nigeria. Just as France has done in all Central African countries changing Constitutions by force. It 'll happen to Nigeria soon.
