The problem I have with JAMB is the time the examination started. 7am?? 😮 That's way too early and pure wickedness considering the kind of fearful environment we live in Nigeria and thats why over 80,000 students were absent. On the other hand most students these days are very very very unserious and this is as a result of the kind of comfort and indulgence from their parents. Just last week I interviewed a graduate who is science inclined. In those days we always respect science students. When she finished the written test I realized that her Maths was very very poor meanwhile her O'Level result shows that she has B3 in Mathematics. During our conversation she boldly told me that she can't teach Grade 6 class because of Math. I told her that I have C4 in Maths, I am commercial incline and I am a Maths teacher, I teach up to SSS 3 class. I told her that she should be way better than me. The next thing she said was "SIR YOU WILL NOT UNDERSTAND." Then I nodded my head. This is not the first or second time I'll be experiencing this. The only they do is to press phones and thirst for iPhones. From Tiktok to Instagram and whatever.
