    First of all let us examine the contribution of ECOWAS to life in the 3 military-led countries. After 48 years, the condition that most of the populations live in is horrible by any standard. The fight against terrorists continue unabated. The countries' resources are benefitting Europeans, not the nationals.
    So, can anyone say WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF STAYING IN ECOWAS? There obviously have not much to the people in almost 50 years! And now that they have decided enough is too much, this same ECOWAS is making threats. How pathetic of them. I think the only way forward for them is to speed up their departure.
