  • After many hurdles, I get the Woody Strat's wiring done. This is using the Freeway 5B5-01 Model 10-way switch, which ends up working great! See my experience of installing this switch on my Woody Strat build here.

    Good tip about the small size of the holes. I wired mine up and couldn’t get it to produce any output on any of the pickups.
    I think my mistake was letting some wires share a contact when connecting them to the freeway switch. For example, the nodes on the switch labeled NH, B, MH, and BT.
    You’re saying the wires AND the soldering material between the two holes cannot touch?? If so, my next step will be to remove all the wires, heat and remove the soldering material from the contacts, get out my magnifying glass, and start again lol
