My favorite setup for freeway ten way sss is with 250 volume, 500k treble tone, and 1meg bass cut tone. This is G&L style 2 band eq or passive treble bass tone control as they call it. Also like hss with the 5b5-02 model because it gives you really funky settings. Also the tele 6 way is really cool with HH and a push pull for coil split so you get 12 tones.

Did the 500k and .047 do th job as far as balancing out the series muddiness with the standard stray sound sounds?
