Hello there, this sort of Air filters don't work well on RX versions. I tried installing K&N to my RX 135 and I ended up with lesser trottle response. My bike just topped out just at 70km/hr. At these sort of air filter are performance oriented leading to more air in the air fuel mixture. And this disturbes the air-fuel ratio. And the factory carburetor has fuel coming of out which fits the amount of air coming from factory air filter.My suggestion would be install a new and bigger carburetor to match the amount of air coming inside from the performance air filter. Please do make a video with this air filter and a bigger carburetor which will fit this air filter and gain some power to top out more than 120km/hr. No offense on this video. It's actually informative. But since I have tried it, I would let you know to improve yourself further. Thank you for reading and waiting for your video with bigger carburetor.
Bro you can fit this air filter perfectly without cross fitting it. Just take a small piece of pipe around 42mm and take the factory rubber mounting of the factory air filter. It'll fit perfectly without any scratches on the chasis
Youll not need a bigger carb ....you'll just need a bigger size main jet ,that will do the job ..... secondly yes you can use the factory hose and use a pipe ....but that will defeat the purpose of performance air filter , coz see the performance air filter not only increases the air flow but aslo reduces the restriction offered to the air flow. The stock hose has a bend to it which adds into this restriction and to overall length of intake .....so that is why we install a performance air filter directly to carb ......hope I'm making sense here :) Anyways thanks for your detailed feedback , I appreciate it :)

Just remove stoke regulator/rectifier, connect a 5A diode from Yellow wire to red wire. Change battery / all bulbs / flasher to 12V, inter change yellow and white wires at the harness, lines coming at magneto connector.
