I have the V&H Fuel Pak 3. I did a stage one air cleaner upgrade on my 2017 Street Glide and ran an auto tune. I had a slight hesitation on take off, nothing critical but did want to find out why. Stopped in a parking lot and called the support line at V&H. Technician was really helpful. asked if he could connect to the bike, which I allowed, he downloaded my tune, made changes and uploaded it back to the bike. All while I was in the parking lot. Fixed the hesitation and runs great. Much props to V&H for excellent support. Hope this helps.
Oh wow, that’s amazing
I have a similar story regarding V&H customer service. I like the ability to have a dash display on my bars with any technical data I could want. Also, I auto tune every season off of the base map (Fxdls w/thunderheader) and you can instantly feel the difference after one minute of flashing the new map.
You should get a portion or the money because you just sold me their product in less than a minute. Thanks.
John, I think your the best "Harley-Davidson" guy on CZcams. Wishing you nothing but success.
No sheet. Guy's a natural. Really enjoy his vids!!
Absolutely
Love the vids as well...I can't even fathom that I am the best "Harley Davidson" guy on CZcams...just have had ridden them since 1970...and the bulbus helmet just is not a cool look....sorry...old school bro...You are the new age 'GO PRO" school...
I had a Dynojet PC5 on my 2011 Road Glide Ultra CVO, and just as you pointed out in the video, it got crushed and damaged under the seat. To Dynojet's credit, they did send me a new unit, but I opted instead to used the Vance and Hines tuner and could not be happier with the results. Great video brother...keep 'em coming!!!
I been running the powervision with target tune, works pretty well on my head, piston and cam swap. Pretty simple to use.
Ive got the FP3. I've been happy with it and like you said V&H suport is amazing. I sent them the map, they optimized it and sent it back. I think it's a good option for those of us who aren't pros.
V&H FP3 - has worked great for me on 14' HD CVO Ultra w/110. I especially like the Sensor Data Live readout available on my Iphone via Blue tooth. I'm able to see Engine Temp, HP and Torque while riding.
You answered my question within the first couple minutes, but I continued to watch the entire video anyway like all the rest of your videos. Love your stuff. Thanks.
I’ve had my powervision since 2011 when I purchased my FLHTFB. My bike was way too lean was plagued with pretty nasty decel pops and ran so hot the rear cylinder was constantly shutting off. I installed V&H short shots and a Ness big sucker, fired up the dynovision and fattened up the AFR a bit and although my fuel efficiency suffered a bit as expected the ride ability issues are gone and the bike hauls ass. Now I intend to install the target tune and a Barnett Scorpion clutch as the stock clutch leaves a lot to be desired. Great vid man, thanks, good luck with the new shop.
Good stuff John, thanks. I did my own stage 1 install and tune on my 2010 FXDC with a PowerVision and it was super simple. That being said the map I loaded was not an exact match and I eventually did a few sessions on autotune to smooth it out a bit. I did do the PC hookup thing and immediately realized this was way over my head so I never did any manual tuning that way. My current FLHR came with a stage 1 and FP3 already set up. The bike runs pretty smooth and I have considered running an autotune but haven't taken the time to do it. Maybe you just gave me the kick in the a$$ I needed.
I know it’s not the best tuner for a variety of reasons but I’ve been really happy with the results using the FP3 on my 2015 Limited and 2013 Sportster 72. Both have only Stage 1 mods. Love it!
Didn’t even think about that issue with the ThunderMax, glad you posted this I was looking at buying it for my RG. Totally changed my mind!
I've been using FP3 for about 4 years and absolutely love it and tech support is amazing. I leave mine hooked up all the time and love that I only have to use my phone to do or change anything.
You're 100% right about V&H customer service - received the FP3 last week, would not connect to iOS device, quick troubleshoot and they overnighted a replacement, boom.
Had a thunder max put on my 2010 FLHTCU when I put in the 5150 SS cam, and SS exhaust. I love the set up.
Meh,no knock control.
Great informational video my man. I kinda like you just sitting and giving us good info once in a while. Nice change up. Thanks
Great video. Very informative and I like your humorous delivery without being over the top and obnoxious. Subscribed.
Power Vision all the way! Love being able to dive in and make changes on the PC and knowing that when I build my motor I won't need another tuning device!
Did my own nitrous tune , worked great (no blown engine !) Have the Target Tune on the Bike too .
I have the power vision and for the past 7 years I've told myself I'm going to learn how to use it. Still on a base map... 😜
John, My Kove Commuter 2 just got here today. Great call, these are now my goto portable speakers. The speakers get two dirty thumbs up. Hope you got them back and are in the new shop. Congratulation on the new shop and a new journey.
Good video, I'd love to see one on basics on tuning, things you can/should do and then things you CAN but shouldn't!
Regular tuners aren't actually closed loop. A narrowband sensor only tells you if you are running above or below stoich and makes a slight adjustment to a base open loop map.
A wide band sensor can detect the actual O2 in the exhaust and run a closed loop equation to keep the AFRs near spot on in any condition. No open loop map required. Though the closed loop function runs kinda slow so it's often handy to have an auto tuner spit out open loop base map coefficients and let it run that way if you aren't planning a ride from Death Valley to the top of Yosemite during your ride.
Two of my Harleys, Twin Cams, use the FP3 and the other uses the Screamin Eagle. Yep, warranty issues with the Road King with M8.
The FP3 is superior but if I were doing it again I would spend the extra and get the Power Vision. The user friendly nature of it and the high quality you just
can't ignore. You get what you pay for!
I’ve been using the FP3 on my 2013 FXDB for a few years now. It does the job for the most part. Been wanting to try the power vision as well though. We shall see.
Keep up the good work man!
I absolutely love your videos Bro, I have learned a lot from them. Keep up the good work and keep the videos coming.
I was thinking about putting cams in my bike until I put a wide band tuner with 2 into 1 exhaust, screaming eagle breather. It is unreal how much of a difference there is in my bike now. Wide band tuner saved me a lot of money and engine work.
Just think how badass it will be with the cams on top of it.
New fan and I don't even own a bike. Used to have a sport 883 that I loved. Sub!
Thanks, John. Great info as always. You're the best HD tech dude on CZcams in my book. Just now you probably saved me the expense of a tuner, since the '18 FLHTKL is under extended warranty. Don't think I'll piss away $ on a tuner just now since I don't ride hard anyway. No sense in flagging the warranty first time I take it in for service. Thanks again for the good sense advice -
I used the Vance and Hines fp3 on my bike in the past very easy to use especially if someone like me that isn't smart phone friendly was able to use it
Have PV for several years and love it. Also let’s you monitor engine performance in real time if you mount it to your handle bar.
Yeah, that's what I'm doing. PV2 with Target Tune. Graphs set to a big RPM gauge with oil pressure, engine temp, and fuel economy gauges to the right.
I was lucky and got a harley auto tuner before the EPA made harley pull it off the shelf. Timing is everything.
Great work John. Keeping us sane is appreciated 👍🏻
Thank you for the breackdown really apreciate you taking the time to make this video
I used the Fuelpack with my 2010 Superglide. Made a bad running bike from the factory run like it should.
Cummon HD!!!
Really enjoy my FP3. It’s incredibly user friendly for sure.
Me too!!
I should buy a fp3 and a header pipe
Yeah I put one on your ole lady and she went from draggin her teeth to deep throat no gag.
I have yet to see a dynograph of an FP3 tune that looks anything like a half decent curve. Each and everyone I've come across are absolutely horrible, with torque dips right in the range most people ride of up to 30 ft-lb. That's over 30% less power than the engine should/could be making with a solid tuner like the Dynojet PV2, TTS, or T-Max.
Thanks John Maxwell I really am waiting for this COVID-19 to pass and work to get back to normal before adding tuner to my 2019 SG Blue Max been favouring the Vance & Hines great video sir!
Have the screaming eagle on my bike that’s under warranty and you just convinced me to buy two FP3 s for my out of warranty bikes! Great video!
My Harley is currently in the shop. I wish you were my tech.
Love how you mentioned "if you have the stage 2 SE, the Pro Street is awesome" I did that on my 18 sgs and yes it is way more power than stock and since I got the ESP I'm good on the warranty end too. Win win as far as I'm concerned. 😎😎😎
Awesome. Getting the same done next week. Excited!
Except for the factory ecm speed limiter. 109 mph
@@robertmcdougal2966 all I know is one day I was clocked doing 208kph.
@@cabby316 Cool, about 130 mph. The Harley davidson dealership i was speaking with informed me that on my 2019 softail the SE Pro Street would not alter the speed limiter for my bike which is set at 109. I'm glad it worked out for you. I'm looking at a power vision or FP3 so that I can optimize my top end. Good luck, brother and keep it between the ditches!
Cabby- I am doing same as you ( SE tuner and SE torque cam) but have s and a slip ons with bassani head pipe. Do you think my exhaust choice not being a Harley one screw up my results ? Do you think it will run well??
John good video for those intimidated by what tuner to get. Thanks and dirty thumbs up.
My Power Commander 5 flamed in the middle of of 3k mile ride. Now have the FP3 and love it. I so agree taking off the tuner is a huge bonus. Thanks for this video great info.
Damn. No kidding. I just put one on my Harley fxbb and i live in Az.
Hay John yes it totally stinks about the warranty deal. I'll have to leave mine stock until out of warranty. Thank god I have the 114 M8.
Lost 3 gear. Moco denied warranty! Hoping tuner keeps bike cooler/richer for long life engine!
TTS Mastertune, been using it for over 8 years.
Yes sir!
1 of the best if not the best tuner available.
Got the V&H Fuelpak3 to go with my Arlen Ness deep cut monster sucker, V&H power duals & SVT Bonshakers. Couldn't be happier!
Nice recap. Couldn’t agree more with your comments on the PC5. We had to pull it off my brothers RK after 3 years because weather did it in and the bike was running like crap!
As for the T-Max ECM, mine works very well and it does give full access to all the codes and programming fobs and transport mode is all the same as stock. Best part is, your bike is running rich and giving all the HP possible! No EPA shit here!
Thanks for all the great videos! 🛵
You mentioned reseting the PIN with the fob. Could you do a video on how to do that?
That requires a digital tech as far as I know
It's in your Owners Manual how to do this.
Hey John thanks for still posting! Can I bring the FP3 to a Dyno and they tune it? Thanks again! Stay safe and healthy
Great channel. Thanks for great info.I saw you at the World Record Ride in Paris, TX. I wish I could have met you in person. I am on my fourth Harley. The first three I only did Stage 1. My current bike, a 2017 Road King Special, I did Stage 2 with the S&S 465 cam and their cam plate, oil pump, lifters and billet tappet cuffs and Screaming Eagle adjustable pushrods and Extreme Flow intake combined with V&H Daytona 400 slip ons. I have used V&H FP3 on all and I have never been disappointed. I admit, I have never had a bike on a dyno and I may not know what I am missing, but my RKS with the above parts runs like a dream even though I use the map from the FP3. It is a thrill to ride. For the average rider the FP3 adjusts way more than a non professional probably ought to fool around with, but I like to be able to download a map, adjust throttle response and read codes and, since I leave mine hooked up under the left side cover, I can use my phone for real time information on a ton of things too numerous to list here. And you are right about V&H customer support in real time via phone, outstanding, can't be beat. Thanks, again, for a great channel.
Thanks for the help man I was stuck on which one to get
What are your thoughts on the TTS Mastertune? I have tuned a few bikes with it and it seems pretty versatile, I think we sold them for $450 I think. On a side note I have an old power vision in my toolbox that I use just to read codes which is pretty handy.
That's the best of the best !!!!!
I used the FP3 for a 1275 kit on my 883. While it worked it was little tedious.
Selecting a map and flashing it to the bike with your phone is tedious?
Hi John I use powervision and they helped me remotely accessed my lap top to make a map for my CVO pro street checked it on a dyna after was running so nice
I have and love the FP3. Super easy to use and great support form V&H.
So I just called Zippers performance who are the major distributor for the thunder max and they said that all you should have to do is plug the stock ecm in to do any of the security fobs and other things you mentioned you couldn’t do with the thundermax. Zippers is local to me hence why I wanted to know if there would be a problem with the security system stuff as the thundermax is what I will likely go with.
chargerman426 Thunder Max is a great product and will allow you to tune any option available. The one problem is it replaces your ecm. If you swap back to stock ecm, you have a stock tune because your Thunder Max ecm isn’t installed. Talk to Jaime at Fuel Moto. He doesn’t have a dog in the fight and sells both, the Power Vision and the Thunder Max. Also, they sell cheaper than the manufacturer on both.
Thundermax doesn’t use the M8s knock sensors, harleys Delphi computer is way better than the thundermax, the power vision Delphi combo is the best
Great Video...what about the TTS that a lot of Harley Davidson dealers in Europe are recommending?..Thanks a lot for the infos
Towcester Tuning Shop?
I have the tts. I like it a lot.
TTS b fine, as good as PV...it's all about the competency of the dude doing the tuning. As long as you can get into the ecm..it's good.
Tts is a great tuner one of the best cannot go wrong and if thats what theyre familiar with even better!
Great video brother, lots of good info. Thank you for everything you do.
Thank you brother for all the great information on our bikes.
Also worth noting, the Power Vision has to run the Autotune cycle three times to more accurately adjust the cells when using the Narrow Band O2 sensors. DynoJet will only make incremental Cell adjustment each Autotune session to prevent damage to the bike by adjusting too much too quickly.
How do you feel about t-max
I've had awesome support and it can tune almost any upgrade you will throw at it ...
Matthew fisher love mine
He explains in the video why he doesn't like the t-Max.
I have a VH3 tuner on my 16... Love it.. It tunes itself ... Select your bike by model and VIN and then your changes from stock. It uploads a map and then when you ride it it does the modifications as needed from the canned map, like doing it on a dyno but on a ride. You can keep it in learning mode for an hour or months... After that you can leave it learning or hit save and remove the unit.. The app will let you see all the engine perimeters while riding easily on your phone. If you have to go back to the dealer reload your stock map and remove the unit.... All back like stock. After service reload your modified map and ride on...
I installed the FuelPak and the BEST feature of this is the throttle control. I set it to Moderate and a year later it is the best upgrade on my bike. I've rode in a club and we would ride hard, I'd have to throw my wrist back taking off and still not be fast enough at times. Being able to turn my wrist half as much but get the same acceleration is amazing. There is an aggressive and 1:1 setting as well, which I haven't tried but my concern is tickets. Even with moderate sometimes I speed faster than I'm thinking I'm going because how little I have to turn my wrist.
Any experience with TTS?
Surprised no mention of tts mastertune... its basically a seprt on steroids with no epa restrictions. Steve Cole is the creator of tts and the early sert's were made by him. Steve wanted to make the serts more robust and epa free and Harley didn't so they parted ways.
For the warranty side of things get a third party extended warranty. It will cover more options, cost less and aftermarket items like tuners won't void the warranty.
Also there's been alot of issues with power vision and the screen blanking out. Fuel moto and dynojet are aware of this but nothing has been addressed yet to fix it.
when you are saying third party extended warranty are you talk about HD ESP extended service plan?
@@southernblueblood5402 i had one back in 2012 i think. Can't remember the name but there was a couple. Esp i think is one ive heard about online.
I could pick a fav from the TTS or PV...but in reality it would b just that, my favorite. Either will accomplish the same quality of tune in capable hands.
I’m a big fan of this purchase. Opened my eyes to the Powervision. Ease of use and VnH parts prolly means a Fuel Pack
Thank you for this vid. And... BTW... Really good teaching Mr Maxwell
That was great info as I've been thinking about adding a tuner to my 2017 road glide ultra
I’d love more info on the SEpro tuner because it’s the only one I can install without voiding my warranty.
The Motodude I agree. I’d be interested to see a rolling build of a under warranty bike from Stage 1 on to 4. To see what’s really reusable on each step.
Any thoughts or experience on the TTS tuner?
1 of the best tuners available. Make sure whoever's tuning bike is very familiar with tts because you can get into trouble if you don't know what you're doing.
Just got the power vision tuner on my 14 flhtcu and love it so far with the Arlen ness method air cleaner and the Vance and Hines exhaust I’ve just installed it seems to have woken her up a little. I’m going to play with the tuner a little for some help with decel pop and throttle lag, should be fun. I bought it from fuel Moto with a tune already installed and it seems very easy to use so far. Great recommendation sir , thanks man🤘🏻
John, you got my attention with this session. I ride an '06 FLHTC-I with the 103 SE upgrade, the 9:1 SE heads, SE 253 cams, and a roller top end. I put on Reinhart (sp?) True Dual pipes, then installed that ThunderMax ECM kit. Tossed the program on a little notebook, then dialed in one of the auto-tune selections closest to my set-up. Wasn't long b4 T-Max dropped off the planet, as seen with 7 year and older CZcams vids, nothing newer. I don't even know if they exist and can support the system any more. I take the OEM unit along on long rides, with its cabling, kind of a PITA. So, my dilemma, caused entirely by you and your video 😢, is whether to just return to the OEM ECM and pop for the Dyno unit, your favorite, which doesn't require a WiFi connection for my phone like the V&H unit. Kinda makes sense for the road, and the possibility the T-Max takes a dump in the Plains 2,000 miles from my shop, and replacements are defunct. Make sense to you?? Thanks, btw. Just jacking w/you, it was a helpful vid.
I miss the days of a feeler Gage a screw driver and a timing light to tune your Harley.
I heard that. All I want to do is richen up my fuel mixture and gotta buy a tuner for that? Jeez
You know, changing main jets in a carbrater was a lot of work too. I ordered this Powervision because its plug and play, ive decided to just enjoy it. Its cool
You miss the days of inferior engineering?
Okay boomer.
seriously!? backfires & crank start?? No thanks!
@@Judas114 Boomers made the internet cell phones and major medical advancement. Your generation can't tell time on a clock with hands or change a car tire and I never saw a boomer eat tide pods. A motor you can't work on without an expensive computer or a trip to the HD dealership isn't an advancement. My 72 FLH is the best running bike of the three I have. The other two are twin cams and I am selling the Road King to buy an Evo.
Can you recommend 3 tuners who know how to tune a Carby? Aint no computer on my EVO
Your tuner on a carbed evo is a screwdriver
@@Tberg725 And an assortment of jets.
Depending on what you have done, I went to a lectron carb on my built evo. It was the best thing I ever did for that bike, simple tool less adjustments. That bike was a constant adjustment after doing a full build with case work ported heads and big cams.
Great vid. Very informative.
Thanks. You have my choice for tuning easy.
Holy crap, dude!!!! What an amazing discount on that speaker! Got mine ordered. Thanks!!!!
Wondering why you don’t mention TTS MASTERTUNER?? Why don’t you like it?
Its a great tuner
I’ve got an old Orange Super Tuner, but I’m not educated enough (yet)to use it.
-‘13 Wide Glide-
Jay S same here lol
I had an orange one on an older bike I had, loved it, picking up a black one tomorrow. I’ve heard due to EPA junk they aren’t as good as the old orange ones. Fingers crossed
What’s the price on the black one Steven?
@@JaySorsby1 I’ve found it for 250-300.
IMO:
I’d save another $150 and get the PowerVision. But once cry once.
Vance and Hines FP3 is awesome. And the customer service is excellent! There was a time I couldn’t get my bike started. 10 min on the phone and the guy made adjustments on WiFi and my bike fired right up. You can see all kind of vitals on your phone in real time. Engine temps, intake temps, Rpm, gear, fuel economy, injector duty cycle, throttle position, and on and on. you can do things like decel pop And trouble codes and all kind of cool stuff. I’m super happy with it.
I have tried all 3 of these and the PV is the clear winner IMO, mainly bcuz I have more than 1 bike so it only cost me $199 for additional license to tune/auto tune from the same main PV unit. The FP3 was what I wanted to use on my 18LTD but unfortunately it failed and V&H had to send me a new one. With COVID19, I couldn’t wait any longer and contacted DynoJet and they sent me a tune file in email in less than a day and all is well. V&H did eventually send me a replacement FP3 but I dont need 2 tuners so I sold it.
I’m a big fan of all things Vance & Hines...
I really like the Thundermax, it will self dyno as you drive...
Thank you for educating me and others
Love your channel. I have long list of wish items and a tuner is one. This will be helpful
John, I'd very much like to autotune my other favorite ride...my girlfriend. Do these devices work on wives and girlfriends and if so, which ones do you recommend?
She has a port available under her seat, but I definitely don't want this device to be permanently attached, as it would ruin the fun.
Thanks in advance!
You're the man, YOU are the auto tuner. Or should I say, auto tune her.
Unless you're one of those pussy ass dudes who behaves like one of them weak ass sitcom dads (you know the type, "duh, I'm just the dumb neanderthal man who can't even zip up my daughter's jacket without my wife, duh") then get crackin' and make it happen, captain.
Auto tune her yourself! Deep down inside she'll love it, even if her girlfriends tell her otherwise. Lol
I just bought a remote controlled.. um tuner for the wife. And I can't wait till the world opens and we get to go walk around and make her squeal. Always good to keep it fun.
Hey John, what are your thoughts on the Master Tuner by TTS? Ever play around with them?
My understanding is, at one time, TTS made the Screamin Eagle tuner for The Motor Company. It was about the time H-D got their Dick stomped on by the EPA, H-D and TTS went their separate ways. TTS wanted to ADD to the ability the Screamin Eagle Tuner had and H-D said NO! H-D wanted to remove some of what was currently on the Screamin Eagle Tuner.
Here is the link to the TTS Master Tuner: mastertune.net/products_mastertune.html
The H-D Dealer I use has a Technician who builds and tunes H-D Drag Bikes, Strip not Street Drag Bikes! With a little “Magic”, he was able to get 101hp and 118ftlbs out of my slightly modified 103 Twin Cam! His “Magic” made my bike perform and sound GREAT! Next time we are shooting for 150hp 150ftlbs!
As always, THANK YOU for making GREAT Videos!
What dealer do you go to?
Not John...FWIW, TTS is just as good as PV. TTS made H-Ds SERT "race tuner". Replaced by the "Super Tuner" in '08. TTS could never keep up with demand for SERTs...always on BO..limited quantities to dealers because of supply. This went on for many years...we assumed that's why H-D went to the Super Tuner from a diff vendor (Kent Moore), never an availability prob since.. Steve (TTS) must have covered his butt well about non-competing...cause they came out with the MasterTune shortly after Harley dropped them.

Thanks man! Keep these videos coming !
is it safe to leave the fp3 on the bike?
Mines been on the bike for months, no problem
Ride With Dinosaur absolutely. Just take it off before you visit the dealer for any warranty work. The FP3 has limited tuning (tells ecm rich or lean at stoic) so it won’t change much. Wide band (18 mm) gives the tuner values to adjust by to create a better map.
thank you for the reply guys
TTS MasterTune??
My TTS Master Tune works Great!
The best
Pleasure meeting ya this past week. I was the one with the Dynatek Fusion tuner! Lol🤣
I had already filmed this video when you came in, and I kept thinking i wish I had that convo to talk about in the video!
Hi john love your videos. I have 2018 sport glide stock headers mated to bassani toad rage muffler that i have built a baffle for s&s 475 cam and se hi flow ac. Im running the hd auto tuner with an orange super tuner as we can still use them here in oz. We have helped the auto tuner along a couple of times throttle and rpms it doesnt see for long enough to read as haven't dynoed but now it is great on the road. Took a little bit of fiddling initially but that was part of the fun. Keep up good work.
Thundermax
Which ones best for my 1989 XLH1200?

@@newbelgium4 You got that right NB4! A new shorty carburetor was cheaper & more effective for me ;)
Johnnyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!! You rock dude! Great stuff as always.
I have the FP3 and the support as described by others is amazing, I have added cams etc & they tweak maps as required, great follow up service.
Thundermax!
Thunder max replaces your ECM, so if it goes bad your out $799. It is very in depth for major mods and leaves everything on the table. Can’t go wrong here. Great recommendation, but I prefer Power Vision.

Love your show.I like your style Dude! Yah..Sam Eliott is the coolest!
You rank up there brother keep on sharing the knowledge! I'm still learning about my 2015 roadglide that I bought it last year from a Harley dealership and It came with mostly everything Vance Hines exhaust and they told me it had been put on the Dyno. It does back fire sometimes
My dealer installed my V&H Short Shots and FP3 from the showroom floor and flashed the Stage 1 map, guess my dealer void my warranty without even asking me.
No if you got the work done when new your good. I have a 883 and did the stage 1 all good.but that VandH fule pack could be a problem. Screaming eagle is the way to keep that warranty.
My local HD dealer specifically pointed out, that the V&H does NOT void warranty, nor alter emissions, regardless if they do the install, or you do it at home. V&H also claims no warranty damage.
It comes down to ur dealer. Always take it to the same place. If you are road tripping and break down just tell them not to hook up to the computer. Once ur VIN is in the computer ur 2 year warranty is gone. Just talk to the local service manager at ur local Harley and they won’t do you dirty. It’s all EPA. It isn’t Harley, it’s the government I’ve been told. Had that issue on my 18 FatBob.
I have an FP3 on my '08 Sportster since the Stage 1 setup ran like crap cruising down the street, air/fuel was way off. The auto-tune option was so easy to use and got my bike running beautifully.
One additional note about the Screamin Eagle tuner, in my experience only the Harley dealer will Dyno your bike. I was able to get good readings on the road but that was one scary ride. With my all Harley screamin eagle mufflers and breather the Road King runs like a dream and sounds awesome. For me that combo works but probably won't work for everyone. Great vid, thanks.
Great video John, could you make a video on the screamin' eagle smart tune pro?.
