Vance & Hines brings you an innovative aftermarket fuel system that allows you to leverage the power of your smartphone for easy and fast fuel system management to get the best performance out of your motorcycle in the Fuelpak FP3. Fuelpak FP3 uses flash technology to recalibrate engine parameters and mapping for exhaust systems. With simple plug-and-play installation using the HDLAN system and Bluetooth wireless technology, you can use your Android or iPhone to access factory sensors and see live sensor data like speed, RPM, Cylinder head temperature, voltage, gear selection, and more for customized performance. Download an assortment of performance upgrades from Vance & Hines virtual library of engine calibrations or autotune according to your own metrics, like fuel type and other precision settings. The fuel injector is equipped with an ECU (electronic control unit) programmed to deliver fuel to the motor based on an air/fuel ratio for a stock air filter and stock exhaust system.
NOTE:the Vance & Hines Fuelpak FP3 ties into your bike's VIN number and cannot be used for multiple bikes.

I just put one on my 13 fxdb stage 3. Holy hell this bike has never ran this good. Not a single decel pop (my bike did it constantly with the dealership tune) It now has a buttery smooth and much faster throttle response, it's like having a brand new bike. 10/10.

Had 2 FP’s over the years, currently running FP3 on M8 107, works amazing! Installed myself when did stage 1 full headers & breather, ran great. It’s adaptable, my HD dealer contacted V&H & got a custom map when they installed stage II cam, huge difference! I’ve since Autotuned, I would recommend taking your time auto tuning & fill all cells. I only did 30 minutes worth & it could use more

J K this is a valid question. It all really depends on rider to rider. If your bike is still under warranty then I personally don’t recommend this route. Now if you don’t care about warranty and you want the best bang for your buck, the FP3 is a solid choice. The screaming eagle tuner is ok, definitely not worth the hefty price tag.

Funny how the tuners use a bluetooth connection to create a bridge between BT and Internet . V&H uses your phones internet connection to gather your data. Once you pair the fp3 to your bike the tuner can no longer tune another bike.
I am assuming the tuner uses a basic bluetooth classic encryption. With the proper tool(Ellisys Vanguard) I am able to capture the link key which is encrypted from master to slave. Reset the tuner and use it on another bike to tune it.
