12. Although the driver of the black car is absolutely a fool for blindly driving perpendicular through lanes of traffic, the car that illegally crossed the yellow line and was driving on the wrong side of the road to bypass traffic was 100% at fault.
they will both share fault. Not 100% on either.
@steveroyer1628 it really depends on which state they're in. Where I live the blue car would be 100% at fault for breaking the law.
I can’t stand when people do that to get to the left turn lane
they both got karma
Or when they enter the center lane three blocks from the left turn light.
Ironically, that's what that lane looks like that the blue car used to cheat traffic was a left turn lane.
3:20. So it's ok to drive the wrong way down a street??
3:13 It's not just the fault of the black car, it's both cars. The silver car should not have been driving in the opposing lanes to skip the queue
The silver car should not be there indeed but is th other car allowed to cross the yellow lines like that? I am from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 and so i am just curious.
WRONG. 100% on the blue/silver car. 100%.
yes they are3 allowed to unless there is a barrier in place@@gerhard6105
no. The double solid yellow lines are treated as a concrete barrier so no crossing is allowed. Both parties are at fault and that would be 50/50. @@gerhard6105
They both have to cover their own damages. insurance wont cover it.
3:13 There wasn’t even a center lane. The blue car was 100% driving the wrong way down a two way street. The black car pulled a shiesty maneuver but that blue car should’ve never been there.
3:28 I'm beginning to think MegaDrivingSchool is making idiotic comments just to get more engagement in the comments section. _Clearly_ the car _going the wrong way was at fault._
They both are at fault. The black car was making an illegal U-turn and the other car was driving the wrong way.
#12 3:11 This is one of those accidents where you want to say the black car is 70% at fault, and the grey car is 100% at fault. So many things done wrong here that a total of 100% fault isn't enough.
4:11 That gonna be an expensive lesson to learn. Look before opening your door!
Agreed, but how did the driver not see that door opening up? Talk about no situational awareness.
@@critthought2866 [1].Camera is in different position from the driver. [2]. Wide angle lens does not display the distance accurately. EG : Even passenger side mirrors have the warning that objects may be closer than they appear. [3].The guy opening the door had phenomenal timing. [4].Want to say something about the legal and common sense safety issues here, but this plenty long enough already, and I think,[hope],they speak for themselves.
@@chromeboi9"Wide angle lens..." You must have just learned about those. Instead of excusing stupidity with words you don't understand, maybe just use your eyes, like a person. They were 2 full car lengths away when that door started opening. Just after going through a fresh green light, on a narrow road with on street parking, in the middle of the day, with perfectly clear visibility, during heavy traffic, the cammer shouldn't have been going more than 15 mph, and should've been focusing heavily on the cars they were passing. Anything could've happened there. There could've been a child walking between the parked cars.
Yes, the person in the parked car absolutely should've paid more attention. It was stupid to open the door without making sure there wasn't a car coming, but that doesn't excuse the cammer being completely oblivious to everything around them.
@@chromeboi9 No, just no.
@@chromeboi9 The first rule of dashcam club - always, always, always blame the cammer.
0:20 Regardless of the speed limit, it's usually not a good idea to go 20 over what the traffic on either side is going.
For real, there is a passing/fast lane for a reason
At 3:20 the silver car was driving in the wrong site of the road
and black car violates the solid double yellow lines which forbidding any crossing. That is 50/50.
You have a misunderstanding of double yellow. There is no passing on a double yellow, but you can cross it for a left turn. The blue car tried passing on double yellow and is mostly at fault here.@@Nishkid641
Nope wrong @@Nishkid641
Look at the MCDONALD'S EXIT IN SEAFORD DE it'll show that double yellow doesn't always mean no crossing
@@Nishkid641 Totally wrong about the black car. You can cross double yellow lines when perpendicular to the lines.
First clip: They didn't "come out from nowhere" as you can clearly see the family preparing to cross the road from a fair distance away. That said... The family needs to brush up in their road/ped discipline before they end up as speed-bumps or hood-ornaments.
I should have asked for a dash cam for Christmas.
I am upgrading this year. Mine is about 5 years old
I guess the lesson of the last video is to never exchange words with a hit and run driver. You should also verbally say the name of the license plate because a lot of time they aren't picked up on video.
I really doubt Methuselah was going to do anything anyway.
The "Who Cares" lady in the Toyota @5:25 and angry paw paw at the end seem like a real pieces of work! 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
I disagree entirely with the judgment made on clip 12. The fault will likely be split in some fashion between both the black car and the silver/blue car. Yes, the black car should’ve ensured traffic was clear before turning, and they may have actually been making an illegal turn based on the road design. But the silver car was also driving illegally on the wrong side of the road to try and pass traffic. Depending on the state and how the insurance claim is reviewed, I would be shocked if the silver car didn’t receive any fault.
silver car will get most of the fault since they were technically on the wrong side of the road. the other idiot will get partial blame just for stupidity tax
Traffic *WAS* clear before turning. Blue car was 100% on the wrong side of the road and is 100% responsible.
The black car was making an illegal u-turn, so they are both at fault.
I don’t know how black car is at fault. Other driving is on the WRONG side of the road?????
3:22 Yeah, clearly it's the fault of the black car for hitting somebody driving on the wrong side of the road.
Regarding the collision at 3:20, It seems to me that both are at fault. I'd place more on the car that was passing on the wrong side of double yellow lines.
Black car didn't technically break any laws. The blue car could get reckless driving for that. Black car probably had visibility to the right but he shouldn't have had to check his left. Was probably just trying to get out in heavy traffic could've been sitting there for 5 minutes.
3:19 Blue car is mostly at fault. Black car should have made sure it was safe to turn, but the light blue car should not have been going the wrong way either
Blue car is 100%.
no dude. Black car violates the solid double yellow lines which forbidding any crossing. That is 50/50.@@TheOwlGuy777
@@Nishkid641it prohibits passing, like what the blue car did. It does not prohibit crossing, like when making a left turn.
@@deproof1234 Apparently, that makes TWO of us that know the rules.
@@spamlessaccount that's what I said, just accidentally said black car. Blue car was illegally passing. Black car was turning legally.
@5:15 "you gotta stay it's the law" no tf it's not. No law requires anyone not involved in an accident to stay at the scene.
I think he called him a name. Just before your quote . . .
He was talking "to" the guy in the red car.
@@spamlessaccount no he wasn't, because the driver of the car he was in was responding to him
@@josephgermany7446he was talking to the driver of the red car, but it was to himself out loud…
@@Shinigamiusmc then why did the driver respond every time the dude spoke? (there were 2 people in the cammers car)
3:20 It's crazy that there are people in the comments thinking the black car is any bit at fault. This is 100% on the car going the wrong way. A car is allowed to cross double yellow and turn left out of a driveway, parking lot exit, or what looks like an uncontrolled intersection unless there's a sign that says otherwise. He was hit by someone doing something completely illegal, which the black car could not nor should not have expected to be there. There is no split here.
03:15 - Bad comment at end of this recording ... accident was caused by driver speeding past everyone else across a double-yellow line.
The level of road rage shown here is exactly why I'm a fan of dash cams. Protect yourself and your sanity.
#9 Definitely a failed attempt at fleeing.
12. It's NOT just the black car's fault. The gray car crossed a double yellow line into oncoming traffic. They are also VERY wrong.
I'm on the roads for a living and most people don't know you can't cross a solid white line and most people just don't know how to drive. They take a test at 16 and then never again.
Time to retire. It's not illegal to cross a solid white line, but it's "discouraged".
3:13 other car crossed double yellow lines and drove opposite of traffic. While black car may have been foolish in the manovour they were making a legal turn.
5:45 - They already replaced the "Don't walk" with a big red hand so even illiterates know they aren't supposed to cross and of course it's still common...
3:15 It's 50/50 to both drivers. The car pulling out isn't supposed to drive like that, as is mentioned, but the car that hit him was driving in the wrong lane of traffic on the wrong side of a double yellow (so passing isn't even a defense).
3:19 Black car is not at fault. Blue car is driving in the oncoming lane: who looks for traffic driving the wrong way when pulling out?
True, blue car was at fault…however, around my neck of the woods (East TN), I always look for wrong way drivers, especially near intersections where a turn lane starts. Folks around here only take road markings as a suggestion, that and lack of insurance, registration, and/or drivers license.
You have to yield to both directions when driving onto the road.
black car will get some fault for the ignorant and stupid move they did crossing through traffic without looking at all. the other car will get the majority fault because they were in the wrong lane. only a complete idiot makes use of people letting them out without being able to see BOTH direction. it causes WAY more wrecks to let people out than if you just make them wait till its clear. i'm betting that shopping center had multiple ways out, and most likely at least one way with a light. an extra 10 seconds would have saved the idiot int he black car a whole lot of bullshit.
@@jsvice Plenty of businesses, on corners especially, with no easy way to get out if you need to make a left across a multilane street. I will agree the blue car could have been more cautious, and anticipated someone might pull a dumb stunt like pulling out into the oncoming lane to get to the turn lane.
That’s why I live in fear of the carpool lane. I am always afraid some idiot is going to decide to pull out of the regular lane and then BAM!!
That's why I'm glad in my city the HOV lane is purely a suggestion and not enforced in any way, shape, or form.
Fortunately, I live in a state that doesn't have carpool lanes.
3:18 black car not a fault - grey car was over the double-yellow lines.
3:21 uh… it was clear for the black car driver. They had a clear road to turn onto. It’s clearly the fault of the blue car that drove over a double yellow line to get around traffic… you have to be blind to not see who is at fault here.
only an idiot crosses through traffic the way the black car did. if you cant see both ways dont go. i'm betting the shopping center had multiple exits, probly even one with a light, but the black car was too lazy, stupid and entitled to use it.
7:29 Oh, so she *is* capable of turning her neck and doing a shoulder check after all. A bit too late, though.
When the light turns green and you floor it, you're just volunteering to be a crash test dummy. Have fun!
#18 one way that kid was lucky. If he was a second or two earlier his name would have been speed bump. I chuckled at him hitting the car.
A good reason to stay inside the crossing and not ride into the middle of the road.
But I hope there wasn´t damage to the car.
@@HDTube101 And actually look where TF you're going...
@@spamlessaccount The Biker yes. Yup, not Cars fault. Biker driving outside crosswalk

#12 80% Fault for the blue car at the least 20% for the black car. In a perfect world; I would place the blue car 100% if I were the insurance adjuster for the black car. I said it before and I'll say it again, the person narrating should really stick to the facts of the investigators and insurnace ruling fault. There is no way the black car is completely to blame for the accident. Not fully at fault but partially responsible.
Yeah, I don't know what the editor has been on the last few weeks/months. Their "facts" have been 👎🏾
7:30 After she side swiped someone, she suddenly had time to look over her shoulder 🤣
3:25 WRONG!!! 100% WRONG. the blue car was passing on a double yellow, you DOLT!
2:16 Another valuable lesson. You should always keep your beer in the front for easy access.
#1 I'm not excusing that family for just cutting across the street without looking, but if to you they "came out of nowhere" then you're obviously not looking where you're driving either.
All of the vehicles crashing into each other would have made a great tv commercial for the Kenner smash up derby toy cars back in the early 1970's. Anyone remember this toy from back then? 😂
Last clip. That old man doesn't deserve any respect for doing that. His new retirement home should be a jail cell.
5:16 the guy saying you have to stay is an idiot you do not have to stay as a witness. you only have to stay if you are involved in the accident
HOLY SHIT, a Geo Metro, they still exist? 6:03

Incredible compilation! The way these shocking road moments were edited together creates a suspenseful and thrilling atmosphere. I couldn't look away for a second!
what a lucky subie at 3:55!
00:21 I'm guessing you're not aware there is a 'passing lane' off to your left.
Apparently the people not passing were also not aware of that.
the Toyota driver is a witch, she crosses all the lines and still has a grievance to have her driving license taken away and go to McDonald's for 5 years of hard work

Bicycles are considered vehicles and need to follow the rules of the road....crossing at a pedestrian crossing when its a "hand" sign is illegal and not your right of way
Respect for the passenger of the cammer in #18.
Wow, they're still runnin' the old trolleys in Toronto (2:47).
I live in Brookfield, Wi and they redid the Main road thru town so you can only make a right turn onto the road . Then you can get into a turn lane , or a left U-turn lane . So much safer and keeps traffic moving in a safe pattern
We call that a ladies right. I could not turn left from my neighborhood in Portland Oregon from about 2-3 pm until 6-7 pm because we were bordered on two sides by a wetland and had so much traffic. Turn right, turn left, and left, left again and then right. It was a pain but it was safer.
I like the full page description with 2 1/2 seconds to read it 🤷🏼♂️
#1: pretty sure you saw them from aways back. There's kids involved. Expect the unexpected and slow down IMMEDIATELY, especially considering the roads and weather.
As much as i want to fault the family for jaywalking, I can't really bring myself to do it. The next intersection is far enough away that you can't even see the lights, and the clip starts with the cammer at full speed so the intersection behind him must be far too. The parents were probably planning to wait for cammer to pass, and walk behind him. But the kid ran ahead in front, forcing cammer to slow down.
@@solandri69jaywalking should not be a crime, unless the gov wants to provide every person with a free car.
In the civilised world, crossing the road isn’t a crime like it is in the states.
3:21: It's obvious both drivers are at fault. The driver of the blue Nissan (Altima?) was driving on the wrong side of the road and the black Lincoln was trying to make an illegal left over the double yellow lines. 100% of fault on both drivers.
If you are going to comment on accidents- try and get it right !! At 3:20... we ALL do what the black car did- and frankly- he did NOT break any laws. The light blue car- travelling in the Opposite Lanes of Traffic, on the wrong side of Double Solid Yellow lines... is at fault. Period.

And wearing dull colours in rainy weather, so was basically invisible until the last moment.
Darwin Awards are for those who remove themselves from the gene pool before having a chance to breed… he wasn’t removed from the gene pool
There is no going against the flow of traffic when using a crosswalk. And if referring to clip 20 the cyclist may not have did anything wrong. It is perfectly legal to use a crosswalk on a bike in most places(but personally I'd walk mine across). The cyclist entered the intersection before the clip started and may have a had a walk signal and the cammer did not have a protected left turn arrow. The cammer failed to yield to the cyclist in the crosswalk and would be found at fault in this situation. BTW, this happened in Greeley, Colorado and it is legal there for a cyclist to use the sidewalk and crosswalk in the state and the city has no ordinances against crosswalk usage by cyclists.
@@dbweber2323The light said do not walk. Cammer had a left turn arrow. You blind?
@@Riounka Nope, I stand by what I said. The cyclist entered the intersection before the clip started, you do not know if they entered on a walk or don't walk. And the cammer did not have a left turn arrow, there is no left turn signal at that intersection, there is no protected left turn in that intersection, you can even see oncoming traffic entering the intersection. You can clearly see it is a green light and not a green arrow if you are not blind.

12, it was the fault of the silver car. He was passing in a no passing zone, coming up to a stop light. The Black car might be slightly at fault, but he did nothing wrong. There was not supposed to be any traffic coming from the direction of the silver car.
Actually, the way the black car pulled into the lane it could be argued that the driver made an illegal u-turn.
