Smart #3 Pro Variant Static Review With In Depth Look At Touchscreen Features

First off, at time of publishing, still no word on the price. (Update: Pricing added to the quick specs section below)
The smart #3 is a sleek looking car. If you like the back of the GLC, you'll like the back of this car. It's much sportier looking than the #1. It's wider and longer than the smart #1 but although it's lower than the #1, the smart #3 afford good headroom at the back even with its coupe sloping roofline.
For an EV, it's surprisingly light at just 1800kg. Thanks to its superb sound insulation and lack of weight, you do not have to use EV rubbers so you save some money on tyres.
Admittedly, range isn't its strong point but it makes up for it with the ability to charge the Premium and Brabus models in about 3 hours from 10-80% SoC (state of charge) via 22 kW AC charging with a compatible source. Only some Audis and the Taycan can do that. Not even Tesla models have this feature at this point of time. You'd normally take 3 times longer with with 7kW AC charging.

In summary, we think that the Premium model offers the best for the buck. It's got the looks, fast AC charging and a whole lot of cool features the Pro does not have.

Very detailed video. So, the feature that the Tesla does not have is the Pet Mode or is it something else?

I think it's the AC charging. Tesla can do 11 but the top 2 variants of the #3 can do 22. I think Premium is the better buy. Don't really need the 3.7s 0-100, only useful for bragging rights. With our jams, can hardly use. But otherwise, nice looking car.
