Beat analysis from the Jets side I’ve heard so far.
As a goalie myself and from experience, I think Hellebuyck has played well. He's made some mistakes but also many more highlight reel saves that kept the Jets from getting totally blown out by the end of period 2. It would be extremely difficult to have a decent goals against average when you face so many shots and shot attemps. Even if a shot gets blocked you still need to square up in your stance, and be ready to make the save, you may even have to drop to butterfly, then get back up quickly and be ready again. That fatigues you like no other. I bet he is in net, legs burning, hoping and praying sometimes that his boys in front of him can get a clear to catch his breath. He's only human. No one can sustain exceptional quality net minding under constant pressure like that.
I always root for Canada teams unless they are playing the AVS. And, the opinion of the opponent is always more interesting than the homers. Also, I'll root for any Canadian team to beat Toronto. Good vid, thanks

The 7-0 win by the Jets was a smoke screen.Avs stopped playing at end of season and now decided to show up.
FOCUS MUDT BE ON puck pressure on the PK and net.front presence on the PP and wrist shots from the point. There is no way the Jets cannot match avs speed. I disagree with NOT putting LB in. It’s a TEAM game, not about one player’s trophy and numbers. LB OUT performed 37 last yr, this is do or die situation, LB should go in. 37 needs more time to reset. They rely on 37 too much. This should send a message to the players and shake things up.

Why is the Toronto sun commenting on my Jets? Trying to deflect from the failures of their own club. Are they just drawn to failure because that’s all they’ve ever known? Should they just not mind their own business?
Because they are sports reporters. DUH. Sports has no geographical boundaries. Lighten up. My Avs are just simply better than the Jets. Everyone knew that going in. You do not have any big name players. Your goalie got you this far.
