A lot of them have contracts and the court costs and losses would be bigger than just getting rid of them, but letting them keep what was in their contracts.

Thanks again Adriane! I have worked in management, in the private sector for over 40 years, now! I never awarded anyone for something losing money? I usually shut it down. And; I started with management not the people who were making us money. The people actually doing the hard work. Go figure? Time ; Pierre shut it down!

If CBC executives get a bonus then I deserve a bonus from the government as well. I get up and go to work in the Canada that Trudeau Singh and the fools that vote for them have turned into a special kind of hell. The government can give me this bonus by reducing my taxes to give me the equivalent bonus or more than the failures at the CBC get. I should get more since I am necessary for the country to function and they are not. If I and millions like me were to stop going to work the losses would be billions daily. It really is time to show this government who is running the show with a general strike even if it is only one day. Everyone stays away from work and shuts the country down. That will get some attention.

If I was the CEO of the CBC I would be bringing in more diverse voices to appeal to more Canadians - esp conservative leaning Canadians. Bonuses? For the executives of a company that can't survive without the millions of dollars taken from the taxpayers? I never received a bonus at my job unless we were very profitable, and what I did was contributing to helping the company to be profitable! This government media outlet would have to fold their tent up and leave, if the government didn't give them taxpayers money. How many other businesses do you know of that can operate at a deficit every year, serve a very small population, and still reward their executives with HUGE bonuses? Defunding this entitled operation may be the only legitimate option.
How can a company that does nothing but looses money and does not entertain people and is funded by our tax dollars have the right to give out performance pay to these Wachos, for absolutely nothing. Corruption at it's finest.
