Giving me the willies watching you under a jacked up truck and no supports and just hoping your hydraulic jack will hold . Get some supports under that axle just in case that jack of yours doesn't hold.

I totally agree and under almost every circumstance that is the right call. If you look at 6:07 the tires are actually on the ground. The jack was only lifting the axel an inch or so during the draining, if it fell there was no threat.
