CLARK Air Base, Philippines: Video of today, with images of another time, is a theme I've been toying with for some time. It may as well be named, my "Clark Chronolog." We'll travel through a special period of time recalled by many.
It offers freshness to an old theme, of building Clark back better. Actually, many were satisfied with Clark Air Base and other Luzon-based stations the way they were. But seriously, all things change.
But since so much has changed at Clark, since 1991, maybe these images can offer clarity. The "Before & After" visual effect gives the opportunity to compare the best of both worlds--the 1970's, 80's, 90's, thru TODAY. The recent changes offer a promise for the future. I'm looking forward to seeing the continued development, of Clark's unique infrastructure, established over the years prior to the rage of Mt. Pinatubo.
That was a time, like today, as we face the challenges of COVID, with nature placing new options before us.
Today's remarkable changes to the Clark/Luzon skyline offer a view into a promising future.
