Brandon went to the Red Keep and demanded Rhaegar to return his sister and challenged him to combat from outside the city gates. The Mad King had him seized and comanded his father come to King's Landing to answer for his son's crimes. That is when Rickard went, so they did not travel there together. Also, Rob called the banners after his father was imprisoned, not after he was executed. Also, they claimed Rob King in the North after 1 battle, The Whispering Wood, not after "battler after battle". Also, Rob was killed at the Red Wedding by multiple arrows, not Roose Bolton. Where are you getting your information from? That shitty HBO series? Here a little secret. That series was maybe 10% accurate. Try reading the books. That is the cannon.
"The North is by far the largest of the Seven Kingdoms; it can fit the other six inside it. Not that the others care... cold and damp, that's how the Southerners see the North. But without the cold, a man can't appreciate the fire in his hearth. Without the rain, a man can't appreciate the roof over his head. Let the South have its sun, flowers, and affectations. We Northerners have home."
Stay fresh cheese bags 😉
Awesome video. Tons of stuff I never knew about House Stark. I'd love it if George put out a Stark version of Fire and Blood someday.
That would be soo amazing. At this point tho just finish the damn book
My favorite northern house is manderly. the north remembers
The North Remembers
Mine Is ALWAYS STARK,BUT house umber and Dustin are badass! I like how the umber trace lineage back to giants and the Dustin's are just savage as fuck the Mormonts are cools as hell too the bears 🐻 and the 🐺 wolves keep shit savage in the north.boltons are badass with the flaying and there sigil is raw as fuck in the books and show yea the NORTH IS BY FAR THE MOST hardcore region with the best history behind it.THE NORTH REMEMBERS THAT WINTER IS COMING🐺
@@trollinrollinrollin
Iron island is pretty hardcore too (see Euron)
Lannisters are ruthless as fuck under tywin
Robert and stannis are both badass (more like lions than stags)
I think Dorne was pretty badass resistibg the targs for so long
Of course targaryen are ruthless and powerful af (fire and blood)
I think most regions had harcore badasses even the reach and riverland (blackfish for eg)
@@KalashVodka175dorne has the balls to defy the dragons for generations and had to be married into the kingdoms and made the world know dragons could be beat with simple strategy and intelligence used by a fearless ppl always loved dorne and my second favorite Character is from there my boy aurthor daine
@@KalashVodka175 and I agree a lot of regions have some badasses and blackfish is the man I also like the mountain clans of the vale of arryn
⚔🐺⚔You tell these story with engaging clarity and this is why I truly enjoy your channel. I have heard many of these stories many times, but when you tell them, it is as though I am hearing them for the first time. Don't stop 😎
Wow thanks, that means alot. I had a ton of fun making this one & will def keep it up. Thanks for watching 🙏
I love how in the general theme of the North and it's people and noble houses are like these primal beasts and monsters of a bygone era. Direwolves, bears, gians, flayed men? That's badass
Yea the North is the most interesting part of Westeros imo.
This might be the best house stark video I’ve seen, great stuff
The Night’s King’s Queen is down there deep in that crypt. The TV show skipped that part. Wouldn’t be surprised that the Night’s King was once a Stark.
*Brandon the Builder also built Storms End.
**Aegon did not turn Harrenhal to rubble. Melted the stone towers, but no rubble.
*** Good Queen Alisayne expanded Brandon's Gift to make The New Gift.
...and the Hightower at Oldstown, no?
@steffurness that theory is muddled. Some maesters say it was built during the Dawn Age, some suggest twas Brandon. Not sure. Good question. GRRM likes to leave people guessing. Maybe TWOW will have some answers when Oldtown gets sacked by Euron we'll find out.
OMG I LOVE YOU AND THIS CHANNEL I FALL ASLEEP TO YOUR VOICE EVERYNIGHT BRO!!
This is some of your best work, can tell you too love the Starks and the North. I really enjoyed this one 👏🏻
Thanks! Yea this was probably the most fun I've had making a video, love the Starks.
I hear the strongs are Starks
Why the Starks didn't get rid of the Boltons centuries or millenia ago is beyond me. Their betrayal of the Starks in the main story wasn't even the first time that they've tried to usurp them in the North after the Starks became the Kings of Winter. Forgiving them once I can see and accept under the right circumstances, but come on. They were clearly not trustworthy.
Thr Starks were a little too merciful with enemies at times.
@@JeremyIceAndFire33 Even Roose Bolton told Robb that the high ground was nice but he would have a hard time marching his army down it. Roose Bolton was loyal in the beginning but as Robb ignored his advice and started losing the war, Roose thought it was best to do what would save him and his people.
Excellent video. One of the most thorough and detailed on YouYube! Great stuff!
Wow thanks 🙏
Awesome video!
Thanks!
teh Aryns weren't so much victorious as the Starks lost interest. More of a draw. Great video!
Starks and Targaryeans are by far the most interesting and lore heavy houses in the ASOIAF universe. Baratheon is fun too but not nearly as interesting as the other 2 houses
Yea the Starks the Targaryens & The Dayne's are my top 3. Unfortunately the show didn't really do House Dayne justice like George does in the books
Nice vid! Suscribed and liked
Thanks, much appreciated 🙏
Got lots of upcoming content planned.
George RR is simply the greatest writer ever. Just think the Bible has hundreds of authors……George is one man thinking of this.
pact of ice and fire should have made Jace's son's queen a Lyanna Stark ALSO...
Brandon the Builder also built Storms End.
Yup, and was also rumored to have had a hand in building the Hightower as well, but for this video, I tried to keep everything Northern focused.
so sad the starks marriage into the targaryen family never worked out can you fucking imagine stark dragon riders or if they have a kid thats a warg and can literally warg into his dragon god damn i hate that this was never a thing
Yea that would've been an interesting combo to see, A Stark Warg Dragonrider
@@JeremyIceAndFire33 i mean i guess its not completely off the table depending on what grrm does with jon him warging into rhaegal or viserion would be sick
Also Rob's wife is (might be? don't recall) pregnant.
awww we didn't talk about how they went to the invading 7 star religion people's how land and destroyed it completely and then made sure there beaches stayed red with blood and decapitated heads during the invasion
In the history of ice and fire when you look at the stark lineage.. Eddard and his siblings are lowkey incest babies because his father rickard marries one of his cousins (Lyrra stark) . Or am I trippin
Technically yes they are, as are alot of other house in Westeros. While they didn't go full on Targaryen & marry brother to sister, alot of prominent houses would often marry cousin to cousin.
@@JeremyIceAndFire33 even in our World it's the norm up until 20th century but it's still prominent in collectives société
N+A=J
Not gonna lie, i wouldn't be mad at all if N+A=J turned out to be true! Love House Dayne
@@JeremyIceAndFire33 I think far more clues point to this than R+L=J. Pretty much every person who meets Jon compares him to Ned. Some even call it before Jon even tells them his name. Hes got nothing in common with Lyanna or Rhaegar. But the part of this theory that I love the most is the idea of Jon being eligible to wield Dawn and become the new Sword Of The Morning. That would be the best possible twist imo.
⚜️ My 'Like' is #666 👀😂
Lol
Theon is a stark and iron island name
Funny how that worked out
