- Fun and quick sewing project with a free sewing pattern! This is the #ValentinaPouch - an original free sewing pattern from Studio 7t7 that I created for a collaboration with lupariasewingram in a live that we did. (You can find her channel here too @lupariasewing )
It’s a great entry level to vinyl/leatherette and a lovely zipper pouch to try some reverse applique on.

I love the box style of this one, but would like to make one narrowing to the top. I want to make an evening bag for a wedding. Love all your tutorials and advise!
Thank you so much! I have definite plans in the future to do an evening bag!
Super cute and super quick project, thanks for sharing Emma, love it
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it. Tempted to give it a go?
Sew cute! Heard about this in a bag group. Love seeingvthe Bernina machines too...love my knee lift!
Thanks so much. Ooo yes love the knee lift!!
the thinner the pin the better when you are sewing over pins
Couldn’t agree more! Fab tip 🙌
I've heard from another bagmaker: if the vinyl is really stiff, you can warm it with a hairdryer. The vinyl will soften and you can birth the bag easier.
Yes! Great tip thanks for sharing
This is definitely something that I would like to try! Thank you~!
Can’t wait to see what you create 🙌 see you in the group
Love the Studio7t7 tag!
Thanks Shelby! 😎 I bought them so long ago for my business and I bought so many! It’s fun to add them to everything 😁
Just shared this to Reddit, good video!!
Thanks so much!!

I don’t understand why you don’t cut the boxes corners before stitching. I’ve done boxes corners before but I’m still learning.
You can do it either way. Thanks for watching. Hope you learned something new from this.
Thanks for a great tutorial. I love your tip about pinning in the seam of the boxed corner. I’m going to try that. I’m curious…did you do anything fun with your vinyl heart cut outs?
Thanks Jan! So glad you found it helpful. Well funny you should say that! I did get quite inspired as I’ve made 3 now and so of course have the 3 hearts- I’m sure there’s something to be done with them! Watch this space 😁
thank you for this video and pattern, your pouch looks lovely, please may I ask where you got you zips from
Thanks for watching so glad you loved it. Both the zipper tape and pull are from @countrycowdesigns - you can find the website here: bit.ly/countrycowdesigns
It would be nice to get this pattern without joining social media. Any suggestions?
This pattern is only available within the Facebook group at this time.
@@Studio7t7 I would not mind paying or leaving a tip for the pattern. I just do not do social media, nor like it. I like your instructions as they are put together well. Thank you for your quick response.
@@sheilales9323 if you want to email me info@studio7t7.co.uk I can sort something out
I don’t find the place to get the pattern and pieces
Hi Christine, it’s in the Facebook group here; m.facebook.com/groups/sewcreateandcraft/?ref=share
(Apologies for the delay!)
At 7:56 how did the double sided tape not stick down to your good side of the vinyl while you were stitching the liner on? When you opened it up I expected the tape to be wrongly stuck but it wasn’t
Because it’s in the seam allowance 😁
