Pros
Inexpensive
Fits most phones
Easy to attach and remove
Your phone won't sink to the bottom of the lake like my dad's did (insert the clip of dad saying, "That's my phone")
Cons
You won't be able to call the fish and let them know to bite beforehand because your phone will still be attached to you (joking)
Your phone can drop in the water, depending on your seat height
The leash gets in the way while casting and fighting fish

Thanks for the shoutout!! Love the video!!
I love the KOALA! Thanks for a great product!
interesting product, however why take your phone when fishing? I have started a policy of not taking a phone when fishing. It is really annoying me when I am fishing and someone in a boat near me is yelling into their phone
As a kayak tournament angler we have catch photo release tournaments so I have to use my phone for that plus when I’m fun fishing I still enjoy taking pictures. Also if I’m ever in trouble I need to be able to call for help!
Okay a lot of folks can understand your thoughts and maybe even virtue signaling but in all honesty the product has usefulness you obviously have not considered. I am notorious for underusing technology (especially phones) whereas I don't take mine with me to a lot of places but my wife and family do. However, consider this when fishing and especially boating. First.... they can be useful in emergency situations while out on the lake. Secondly, they are good for those not with you to get a hold of you in emergency situations off the lake. You don't have to turn up the volume or answer every call but at least you could check it if necessary. And finally, it can help you with changing weather situations that your GPS or fishfinder can't. Try to see beyond just the few instances of ridiculousness you might encounter.
Dropping my phone in the lake is my worst nightmare
It’s definitely something I never want to experience!
