But it really wasn't. I watched that fight as it happened. Tyson Ko'd him that round. The ref did not pick up the count from the man on the side of the ring with the white glove like he was supposed to. That was an actual 12 or 13 count.
It was just the judges working for Buster, which is the opposite of what they should have done since Tyson was the champ then. The judges screwed Tyson over. The count was about 13 and buster got up at the 8th or 9th count which means it was a KO.

Buster fought the perfect fight that night. He jabbed. He threw Mike's timing off. He threw perfect combos and most importantly, he was in pristine shape and wasn't scared of him. That knockdown still haunts me till this day, though..

@@maxdawghe didn't take a dive. He took Douglas lightly and believed his own hype. He never trained properly, was taking drugs and partying all night. At that time he was a mess both mentally and physically and was a long way from the Mike Tyson that became the youngest heavyweight champion.
