Mr. Motogeek Freak Dude, THANK YOU! I absolutely love your videos. They are seriously the most useful and to the point content I can find on "how to" set up and utilize my CardoPactalk units. I have 7 packtalk bolds with lots of kids and use the in our family's RZR. We also have friends who we have suggested they buy Cardo units too. Can you do a video on how to link music to multiple units so that when we ride together we could listen to the same playlist from my iPhone? I have been told this is only possible between two units. And as it stands all people on our DMC are listening to their own playlists but we can all communicate. But still don't know how to do it between two or more units.
    Thanks!

When I tap my bold top and front button I do not get a loud blip.

Hey there, I really enjoy your informative videos!
I did have a question. I have a full face helmet and I was wondering what mic I should use for the best sound quality. The boom mic is supposed to be for modulars and open helmets, but is the sound quality of that better in a full faced?
    Thanks in advance!

Thanks! Good question; I tend to lean towards the boom mic for all helmets, unless it’s a close-fitting full face (then I’ll use the wired mic because it will be sitting directly in front of my mouth). If the wired mic is too far away from your mouth when you put the helmet on then I think the boom mic would be a better option. Whichever way you go, you want that thing as close to your mouth as possible (even a little off to the side is fine, but close and in-line nonetheless). Hope that helps!

Nice. Yeah just get that yellow arrow facing your mouth and you should be great to go!

Have you tried the new packtalk with JBL sound system? I'm wondering if it's worth the extra $50 over the original models.

so if i have packtalk scala rider non bold, i can use voice command but i have to press the button? everytime i want to talk, like : "next track, volume down, etc" i have to press that button?

If you're by yourself (not connected to anyone for intercom) you should still be able to shout into the mic.....get a beep.....then say the command - but that's correct it will NOT be like what you're seeing in this video. If you're with another rider then yes, you'll have to hit the button every time to make a voice command. Which to me, defeats the purpose. If I gotta go up and hit a button to make a voice command, I might as well just do the function using buttons instead of voice command!!
That is the core difference between a Packtalk and a Packtalk Bold...the Natural Voice Operation. Hope it helps!

Why you never use the packtalk slim?

I have just discovered this channel and what a difference it has made to my cardo usage. Some of the things I have wanted to do for a while have suddenly become available thanks to your explication and demonstrations. Thank you for the information it has changed my riding experience.
Just one question, have you connected the pack talk to iPhone and BMW motorbike connect and if so how?

Hi and thanks for the comment! Great to hear. Unfortunately I don't have much experience in pairing to the BMW bike's system, but what I've seen/read, the most effective way is to the pair the phone to the bike, then pair the bike to the Cardo. In this arrangement, the phone won't be paired directly to the Cardo but you'll still get your phone calls/music/etc. from the phone...it's just coming through the bike's system first. If, however, you want access to Siri/Google voice assistant, I believe you'll have to pair the phone directly to the Cardo. I miiiiiiiiiight be wrong about that, but I'm 98% sure that's the case. Good luck and hope that's helpful!
