I'm going to assume you are talking about Russia. They would attack from the North and the West instead, as that is a much shorter route.
America has the moral duty to admit people from the east, from across the Atlantic, Europeans, Western Europeans. America fails to fulfill its moral duty after World War Two, starts to admit people from the south instead. America not only opened the border to the South and closed it to the East, America made up stories about how the South is desparate and poor and how the East, Europe is rich, and how it's even beneficial for poor Europeans with no special skills to keep them out.
When Trump started to promise to build a Wall during his campaign, Americ started going in the right direction to finally fulfil her duty to admit people from the east and recognize them as poor and underprivileged. But Trump and his base fail now. And you are mean-spirited.

Interesting how certain psychologies only use the word animal in a human context when the word is used a derogatory insult to other groups) and thus,being social animals are very much emotional creatures.However, reason must be used to "trump" emotion in a political context (not only science), as reasoning is the "highest" ( more recent evolutionary strategy) form of thought any animal on this planet has of predicting (and mitigating) their own and others behavior.
Trump ( Including any human in a position of influence in human groups) could do far worse than to employ a evolutionary psychologist as a political strategist. It's incorrect to think that using words and threats such as " their animals" aimed at psychopathic dictators will have any effect whatsoever (though this is more Trump reacting to his home audience.i.e. He has to say something and it was a bench mark reply as he's not a evolutionary psychologists and /or hasn't consulted with one ).Though Trump was right on the mark this time, Bashar Hafez al-Assad is a animal, the most dangerous form of animal that's evolved on this planet, a intelligent (as in cunning ) psychopathic human with a varying degree of low empathy towards certain humans, some tolerance of humans whom are more similar and zero empathy for those whom are more "strange" (e.g. other cultures,religions,races etc). A psychopath (severe personality disorder with varying degrees of scale) can perceive humans as mere objects (pawns) to be used and abused in order to gain their own status (power).
However, even psychopaths can be reasoned with, just not in the usual humane way. And that's why civilized politicians should employ experts in the field of human psychology as advisors when forming policies and reacting to criminally inhumane individuals and or groups of individuals. Whilst the internet has brought more of the civilized world together, it has also the potential to enable the "bad eggs" (a minority) to organize and form groups.
The best "weapon" against this psychological disease is science. As the potential for "bad eggs" is a genetic disposition.Thus it can be mitigated just like any other disease with the right preventative treatment.

Except for the Daily Show, I've basically stopped watching American news, because it's one long fake news ride. I feel sorry for those who have to listen to Trump ramble.
