I got my Echo SRM-210 weed eater out Friday only to find the fuel line was leaking. I ordered a new kit on Amazon, and decided to try and change it myself. Mailing Address: 3
My uncle worked at that mail pouch plant for 40+ years. All my family is from there, that whistle reminds me of childhood visits. Appreacite the help on the fuel line replacement and the walk down memory lane!
Thanks for this great instructional vid. Saved me time and aggravation. Gotta say, though...I LOVED the steam whistle from the "Chewing Tobacco" plant. Made me smile and remember a local iron works company that had a similar steam whistle that would go off at 8am, noon and 5PM. This was back in the 50's. Sorry...just a flashback to my happy childhood. Thanks again for the video, sir!!
I bought a echo tune up kit and it cost me almost 20 dollars at home depot, I just needed a air filter for my trimmer. But you cant find those you have to buy the kit. Thanks for the vid and I liked the split screens, your becoming a pro at this Joe.
When inserting fuel lines into the grommet, cut them a little long, at an angle so you have a sort of spear tip. A little WD-40 will help when inserting the fuel lines. Cut the ends of the lines square after you get them into the grommet, and use a little more WD to help install the grommet into the fuel tank.
Appreciate the effort....but nobody could see anything at all... bad camera angle....couldnt see where or what side each fuel line went to. Which for me.. was what i needed to see....but thank you for trying. And making the effort.
I need help. I have a echo srm 225. The primer bulb only works if the return line is literally submerged in the fuel. Should it be like that? Cause if im not mistaken the return line comes originally as a short line.
Not to criticize but it would have been better if the reconnecting of the fuel lines could have been viewed. However I will use this to change my fuel lines. Thanks much
@@StBernardAcres you did a good job. it's easy now that i see you do it. i wish i got the weed eater that inexpensive. but they won't let you down. and you will improve the filming i'm sure. thanks big time! keep more vids coming please. i'm on to my tiller and then extra lawn mower.
there is two lines...one is sucktion..and the other one is return...push the primer to see which line is return...if u gas coming out that iis return..
Useless video. I wanted to see how to get that large grommet in such a small hole but your arm was originally in the way, then the video was fast forwarded. I suspect you had problems getting it in also but was too embarrassed to show that part.
Thanks for showing how to take the gas tank off and pull the starter cord, but you back was in the way when you re-connected the gas lines, so useless video

+cway44 Thanks. We don't have a home depot here, which led me to Amazon. I'm glad now that you said that lol. I really like this editing software.

Sorry about that. I agree with you 100%. That's the problem with being such an amateur film maker lol.
Thomas Joseph exactly, the video just shows him rambling and struggling, then it just fades into a new video segment. E

Hi. Enjoyed your video. Can you provide the link to the kit? Thx!
I will look for it for you.
runs like a Cadillac Joe
+chuckyar15 I like it. The best weed eater I've ever owned.
Would you mind providing a link for that kit?
This is the one I bought. Thanks.

no idea which line goes where. not any help at all
They aren't marked. You have to compare it to the old one when you take it out.
Do you realize half the time all we can see is your back/
