    Great, thanks! Just got in my $15 carb and needed confirmation on gasket positioning.
    Fwiw, I found it easier to connect the throttle cable with the carburetor removed.

    Best video on replacement but would have been great if you included ajustments..

      Thanks. I’ve found adjustments so different from each model and even within the model that it normally doesn’t help others. I’ll try to keep this in mind for future videos with a disclaimer

    Needle noise pliers works better on the throttle cable.

    Do you have to use a torque wrench?

    • @MCFIXIT
      @MCFIXIT  Před 3 lety +1

      No but it helpful for making sure the spark plug is seated at the correct depth. And that it won’t become lose over time.

    I just kept squeezing the trigger until the throttle cable slides into place

      That’s another great way of doing it!

    Mine Echo has the same problem of not running. Do you think this will help it? I've had it for years and never serviced it before.

    • @MCFIXIT
      @MCFIXIT  Před 3 lety +1

      There's a good chance that's your issue. Carb clog up over time and can be replaced pretty easily like in this video! Good luck on your project!

      Just be careful to not over-tighten them!
