The only reason I have any Patron in my collection is to compare a really overpriced terrible tequilla to something really excellent like Don Julio. Others recommended in this video would be great for cocktails, but I prefer sipping and tasting the actual beverage.

Both are dog shit really for the price. Get siete lugeus it’s available in most places. If you can find fortaleza definitely grab that nothing else. El Tesoro is better than siete but again fortaleza where it’s at. Just depends what u can find at your local liquor store.

I just finished a bottle of El Tosoro Repo and liked it very much. I have some Arette Artisinal Repo now and it's quite nice. Neither use additives.

Any review claiming to be of the best should automatically eliminate all brands that use diffusers and/or additives. Some diffusers don't even cook the agave, they dissolve it in hydrochloric acid. (mmm yumm) Additives try to compensate for poor quality. These shortcuts are not limited to cheaper products. Once you have traditionally produced, clean, natural tequila you'll know the difference.
So what’s a good tequila like this?

El Tesoro and Milagro are the only Tequilas on here worth drinking, Don Julio is ok..and just ok. Why isn't Fortaleza on the list? It is one of the best tequila out there. How did you come up with this list? Listen to a bunch of college students on their spring break in Cancun?
From what I understand don Julio used to be really good then it got bought and it's just another additive laden bs tequila now
Milagro isn't that great. I agree with El Tesoro and Fortaleza. There are so many tequilas better than 90% of these in the video.
@@JyroOne Milagro and El Tesoro are the only ones on the list worth drinking. Milagro isn't that great as you said, but it is, except for El Tesoro, better than the rest of the crap on the list. Milagro is a budget Tequila too, so for the price it is ok.

If you're serious about learning about tequila and enjoying quality and the original craft.. I recommend learning from people who know and dispense great information on tequila and the history and process. I really like The Tequila Hombre on CZcams. Check out his channel and go with an open mind. I used to be loyal to brands and it hurt my feelings at first.. but now I'm loyal to the proper way tequila should be made and not but products from corporations more focused on mass production and profit. It's a shame tequila is being plundered by all these big names and celebrities and old tequila names that used to be solid are now sold out and are making inferior tequila to the old.
From the ones on this list only 3 are authentic. Authentic as in they dont use additives to mask the bad quality tequila. El Tesoro should have easily been #1. No debate
Additives are not just for masking bad flavors and aromas..... they add flavor when the batch didn't turn out the way the distiller wanted like the oak barrels didn't have as much of the smoky effect on the tequila.
I tried espolon resposado and don Julio resposado, and espolon wins , is really smooth and way more affordable

I don't agree with the order but that first bottle of patron they showed cost like 7 grand, and I definitely haven't tasted it lol so they could be right.

well everyone has a different pallet, that being said, if you think Patron is #1 , I'm happy you have a $5.oo pallet. I myself think Patron taste like Turpentine along with cuervo
It tastes fine... but for $50 you can find better. I find it funny that they put Jose Cuervo when stating 100% agave... when most of its bottles don't. It's nasty. Whenever someone tells they don't like tequila i ask what brand have tried...."jose Cuervo "..... that's why.

While patron roca is fairly good…. Regular patron is on my list at about 95th out of currently 104 tried…… they may have gone purely off popularity and marketing because that’s really the only thing going for patron…. It was geniuosly marketed

This list was made up by 21 yr. old collage students who think knowing Tequila is a status mark ,. So they name the latest Tequila on the bar seen.
But the real connoisseurs of Tequila are the people that have had cheap tequila , middle of the road Tequila and the stuff that goes down easy on the throat

Not 1 of these tequila’s belong in the top 10. I have a feeling this list was sponsored by patron because it is definitely not number 1 not even close, what a joke. Fortaleza, Don Fulani, G7, Fuenteseca, Calle 23 to name just a few are all better than anything on this list, I suggest you seek them out and erase this “list” from your mind.
When the voice over can’t even properly pronounce some of the names of the brands, and includes known production methods of using diffusers by the distilleries, a very non trustworthy description of the video. Labeled “10 Best” is a lot different than the narration that says the “most popular”. Very misleading and inaccurate. A big dislike.

Maestro Dobel, so far, reposado if you like it straight or blanco/cristalino if you want to mix it. Also Don Julio "70. Put some salt on a half of a lime, squeeze some drops of it on your tongue and when the salt dissolves give a little "kiss" to your drink, then sit back and enjoy! ;) Greetings from CDMX.
