Well, after a bad start (my feedback on your ARW bluray review) I may be finally beginning to warm to your abrasive style Mr Lock.... this is a good , balanced review of a fine book!! Howe remains one of my favourite guitarists but that autobiography did my head in...."trumpet blowing" sums it up !!!

"Abrasive"? Because I have an actual opinion...jeez...

Your abrasiveness I mention has nothing to do with your opinions....we all have opinions and passion for prog and music in general. What I'm really referring to is your reactions when someone has the temerity to disagree with you!
Actually trying to build bridges here 'cause , frankly , life is too short !
In that veign , you mentioned recently about health issues ....I genuinely hope they have been resolved. Take care...

Have read the book, don't have enjoyed as much as you, a bit flat and too short, (certainly due to legal issues with his ex wife Kim Poor). I wish I had more story behind the scene of the making of the albums, the life on the road. I noticed the he blames Mike for being responsible mainly of his problems in the group, on the documentary, he claims that Mike was the responsible for editing the documentary to put out all Steve's solo stuff. I've always thought Tony was the ennemy, I figured I was wrong, they were allied.
No wish to have an autobiography from Tony, he has so much to write (he claimed not to be interested in), and Peter's.
