I just love how their plans involve sacrificing some of them and the rest are just, how about we just let Rick solo it, not like it will actually be an issue for him.

I prefered thinking Rick really did mess up by killing them, but at least the writers are paying attention to detail while reinventing these characters' backstories and I appreciate that.

Yeah, if this is that mission, then they forgot their own plot. Super Nova says, Alan was the one who didn't want Rick Sanchez on board, to which he doesn't protest (although he does protest her blaming him.) Which is the opposite of what happens in this video. So yeah.. no consistency.

He was probably afraid to call out Super Nova and after seeing how she murdered other Vindicators I don't blame him.

Unexpected, what with how Dan even said Vindicators 3 was one of his least fave R&M eps he worked on.
Well not only are super hero characters ridiculously still popular but also easy satire and honestly with all the various streaming shows exploitating that since that episode came out it makes sense to get some more commentary on it. Plus I'm pretty sure that Dan Harmon isn't super hands off with this spin off and it's being done mostly by others related to the main team.

This series is some quality character-driven drama, amazing for how short the episodes are. You're doing a great job at keeping this show alive in the consciousness.

World Series baseball has had declining televisiom viewership and ticket sales for decades. They get only slightly more than 10 million television viewers per game now.
It's mostly just viewers in America.
By contrast the Major League Football (aka Soccer) games from Europe are popular worldwide. Those games can sometimes get almost a BILLION viewers for a big game like a final championship game.
There are more international fans for the Manchester United soccer team worldwide then there are people who live in the city of Manchester itself. Manchester is not a small city.

I don't think he's ever said he didn't like the idea, characters or worldbuilding of the episode. He just had some frustrations with structuring it because he gets obsessive about the story circle but couldn't quite get Vindicators 3: The Return of Worldender to conform to it.

I like this approach of going backward in time to notice things that are not related to the main cast as long as good writing is involved and the events do not break the continuity of the main plot, however, if they decide to make a spin-off about it and break the continuity just let the viewer know this is a different universe so interest will remain among the audience. As far as I know, I watch this cartoon to laugh and meditate about existential cosmic horror and other dystopian outcomes.
Now we just need Vindicators 1.

There was a comic covering that. Aliens were invading Earth and just wasted their time killing ground troopers in front of the cameras instead of the mothership which Rick took out without anyone the wiser. So the team got the glory and no one realizes Rick saved the world.
I need more of this episode. I want to see just exactly how they blew up that planet. And I would definitely like to see supernova back for next season with a new Vindicators team.

Noone knows what this is. Its weird and we never saw vindicators 1. Its a ton of shorts all set to launch at the same time? Id be wary of thinking this is just gonna be a bunch of shorts that would make up the best parts of what Vindicators 2 would have been but at the same time I think thats exactly what it is. I for one just never take what the Rick and morty people do or what Adult Swim, do they still call themselves that?, say without a grain of salt. I think they need their own channel by now. I remember when my family first got digital television and I could finally watch cartoon network and then quickly discovering adult swim. I got hooked and tried to watch every night. Trigun was my favorite and still is one of my top 3s, cant wait for stampede, wolfs rain and cowboy beebop before bleach, my number 1 cant wait for october, or naruto were even translated to english. That summer hooked me on anime and I loved every bit of it.

Got super sidetracked but yeah more R&M content, hopefully a teaser for when the next season comes out. They better be spitting them out quick. I got my McDonald's szechuan sauce waiting for the new season. Not really on purpose but when they brought it back this second time I went and got 3 packets, ate 1 and honestly was like ew this is weird and kindof bland but still salty, idk I wasnt a fan but I still got my 2 unopened packets so why not wubbalubba dub dub and break open a pack when the next season starts. Maybe ill like it more this time.
