john doe true but there’s still a baseline. Your body needs some fuel to do anything, and Chris does seem to eat a small amount for all the work he does.
john doe Yeah but I’m not talking about muscle mass. To do the work Chris is doing (lifting heavy weights, doing pull ups), you need fuel. Maybe he has a more efficient metabolism which allows him to draw more energy from food.

Wungus Bill Yeah it’s strange your baseline calories burned for someone his size is around 2,000 calories and that’s what his body needs to maintain mass just by living adding adding that much exercise in you think he’d be losing so much mass, especially not eating much food

This is everything when it comes to fitness video viewers.
Easy to comment and critique, but how many actually put in the effort to get the results like Chris?
Fantastic vid - Was so relieved to see a realistic achievable calorie intake thats relative to your lifestyle and environment.
Not promoting the ridiculous 7 meals a day and steroid stacks that other knuckle heads do.
I used to be obsessed with scales, gaining weight and eating as much as I could because of listening to mis-information on forums and ego hot headed bodybuilders who train 3 times a day.
I spent years with no results working ten times harder in gym with bloated belly and smoothed out physique.
I started doing calisthenics watching your vids and bar starz. Stopped giving a shit about missing meals and havent weighed myself in about a year.
I only train 3/4 times a week but now look 7 years younger and have a six pack and look lean but somehow bigger as muscles stand out more. Best shape I've been in.
I can do front lever, straddle planche and 18 strict muscle ups from zero just over a year ago.

Thank you so much chris, it's been 4 months now since i followed your exercises routine. From shoulders, chest, upper back, lower back, abdominals and warm up routine for legs. You can get there 100% if you want it. But you gotta actually do it and workout. Do it every day so it becomes a normal daily routine like brushing your teeth. Get your bodyfat % down, do some running. A sixpack is achievable for anyone who's willing to put the work in. I made my own 10 weeks plan (LOL) my goal was doing the L-sit. Yesterday I did it after only 3 weeks. Just gotta train something every day and if one muscle is sore train another one, but do something. Besides Chris Heria/THENX, I can also recommend AthleanX, Fitness FAQs and Calisthenicmovement for overall training knowledge and tips on how to progress to certain exercises. Very useful. Just take bits and pieces from everyone, try it out for yourself and integrate it into your own training.
