    I haven't managed to play it yet, but I really like to idea of a Lord with Chracian Hunter on a Lion Chariot with the Reaver Bow, a Talisman of Protection, the Dragon Helmet and a Seed of Rebirth. Nice ranged attack (four shots at BS7, S5), good close combat (S6 Ap-3) and about as tanky as any elf can get (3+5+5+).

    Malekith caused the cutting of rge beard but it was the high king that ordered him shaved at the time. Due to the disrespect of being accused of attacking dwarven caravans.

    Warden of Saphery is a good upgrade for 10 points, a Great Weapon that strikes at initiative, counts as magical, killing blow... But importantly, it allows them to join the swordmasters unit on a wizard that becomes great doppelganger potential. Even giving an Archmage great weapon attacks makes them into a mini champion.

    The main benefit of the Anointed is getting to mount Phoenixes.

    My typical combos are Battle Standard with Battle Banner joining Silver Helms with Warbanner (Lots of static res plus damage output). L2 mage mounted with ruby ring and Silvery Wand (Battle Magic). L4 A.Mage with Lore Familiar and Warden of Saphery (High or Illusion) Or A.Mage with Chracian Hunter on a Lion Chariot with Illusion can be pretty tasty. It's also easy to get a 2+ save through Dragon Helm if you want a monster build.
    Loremaster with Silvery Wand can give you some utility. It's just being overpowered by L4s is the main problem.
    Never leave home without Loremaster's cloak on a Swordmaster or Sister of Averlon champion.

    Re: Griffin vs Sun Dragon, the point difference is actually 70pts., as a noble would need to purchase the Blood of Caledor Honor (15 pts.) to be able to have a sun dragon mount

    Re: Hexes and Vauls Unforging: Hexes are cast at beginning of turn, before any movement. Meaning 12'' is really short range, danger close really. It can be great when it goes off but it's really hard.

    Great video - I think you've missed the point with the Warden of Saphery honour though - as you said it sucks on casters, but I think it's intended as a small upgrade to a noble to allow you to plonk them in Swordmaster units without having to go the whole hog and making them Lvl1 casters. I could see it on a BSB to allow them to join a Swordmaster unit, and gain a bit of killing power without dipping into their magic item allowance, enabling them to spend more on much needed defensives considering their T of 3. I don't think it's great, but you sold it a tiny bit short

    Ithilmar Weapons are... Forgettable rule. There's a few units that will use it, but the are hitting with S3 AP0 so they won't be doing damage.

    HE Spearmen are garbage XD Sure, they strike first but at S3 no AP they won't actually do damage that will matter. So they'll be losing heavily because they have 0 defences and cost a ton.

      Unfortunately, I can say from experience this is true. A very expensive unit that doesn't do anything.
