I have actually seen this game at a local shop that specializes in import games many years ago. The adapter for the D-Pad is ingenious. Plain and simple. I remember when DDR Disney Mix for the PS1 was highly sought after. I had a copy for my personal collection. I discovered that they were going for a pretty penny at the time. I scored the last three copies on clearance for $15.00 each at a Toys R Us location in my area. I am telling you the truth that I listed all three copies on eBay in three separate auctions. Not one of them sold for less than $100.00
of all things, a Disney Mix on the GBC is the rarest mix. And what I never will get is that Disney Mix has a Night of Fire which is a Eurobeat song featured in Initial D. Night of Fire was on Beatmania IIDX 6th Style but it was never in a main DDR mix when it had eurobeat songs and remixes in its long list of music featured in the series. Like Night of Fire probably would've had a perfect stream heavy chart for Challenge. Edit:the pink coloring makes it look like if DDR had a dance pad themed after IIDX 16 Empress
TBH the set up for the VG capture section in 5:50 was sick and would be awesome to see you do some live streams like that! Even with the GB camera as a gimmick webcam :P
it's funny that they had to make an accessory that is just 4 direction buttons, only because on the original cross buttons opposite direction couldn't be pressed XD
The set up for screen recording really is amazing. Please could you do a video on how to record DS and 3DS games in the same way, it would really mean a lot.
Wow, this is really cool, my only nitpick with the video is that you used VBA, nowadays its got to be one of the worst emulators ever since its so old and outdated, BGB is great and way more accurate for classic GB and GBC games, mGBA is best for you guessed it, GBA games haha!
Imagine the Copyright agreements madness this was probably been for Nintendo and Disney just for this niche and rare game to exist. I mean, they both protect their IP's with sharp teeth.
@@RAMChYLD That makes sense since we've had no Mario and Mikey doing some sweet moves haha. And F yeah, the Konami splash screen was common on Super Nintendo and Gameboy games back then.
I have heard of this game but I never knew it was so rare. I am quite surprised to say the least. Also, I think it has the same song list as the original but the thing is that in the PS1 version, the song list differed between the Japanese and international versions, with this GBC version having the Japanese song list.
You really should wear protective gloves when handling rare stuff. The natural acid and grease from your fingers have probably started a reaction of irreversible damage to the packaging lol
Gloves aren't as necessary as you think. Clean hands are usually sufficient to avoid damage. I say this as someone who has handled some truly old manuscripts.
Video Description: „You show me Someone who knew this Game before, and I’LL show ya YOU’RE a liar!”. Me: Walt Disney, the Creator of this Game knew it existed, because the Game is Based on a Disney License.
Rarest ganeboy game I've never heard off? I literally looked up this game multiple times and it's everywhere on CZcams after I found out about the PS1 version of "Dance Dance Revolution: Disney Mix".
Love watching the game boy stuff, i have been collecting bootleg game boy games (boxed multicarts) since 1994, ive got hundreds of them. Great to watch and keep up the vids 👍
I remember playing this ages ago in NO$GMB when I was seeking out all the versions of DDR games to give them all a shot. Had a friend back in the day actually give me his PSX copy of the game along with the other two versions for the original Playstation we got. In the grand scheme of things the Disney versions weren't bad, just very easy compared to other games in the series.
THERE WAS A GAMEBOY SEWING MACHINE?!!! How did I just hear about this? Why hasn't this been on a list of, "I bet you didn't know this weird fact" videos.
@@SonofSethoitae so some time has passed and I got to see more videos turns out that there are many Gameboy accessories that have nothing to do with gaming.
I uh, don't want to be that guy, but this game is definitely not that rare? I was finding copies of it for like, less than $30 out of the box, like, this last month because I got a wild hair about the existence of DDR games on the gameboy and snatched some up recently
Yeah, it really isn't that rare, there are cartridges right now on sale on Mercari for about 25$ and sold listings for CIB copies between 40$ and 70$ so it's at best uncommon... Putting it in the same level of rare as Trip World and development cartridges is a bit too much...
@@analog-yeule yeah that's what I thought. I'm not ~a collector~ by any means but as soon as I saw what he was talking about I was pretty sure there was a mistake :( people overprice vintage stuff a LOT especially when they're unsure what the actual price range is
Congratulations on another fantastic video! Your passion and dedication are evident in every frame. Keep up the phenomenal work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ok but really thats fucking sick lol
hey do you still do video repairs on original fat nintendo ds systems cause i have a platinum color original fat ds that i tried to put on a red shell and the shell didn't fit on right and i couldn't get back together so could you put it back together with a new red shell please and can you add a stylus i lost the original
Its a music game. So why you don't shut up and let us listen to the musik sometimes? You always tell how beautifully the musik is but why can we always here you talk?
That epilogue/emulator/gbc combo was inspired
The GB Interceptor sounds like an awesome 1980's era cartoon fighter jet.

I'm assuming Dancing Stage Disney Mix isn't as rare because they only sell for about £10 lol. It has a lot less content than the Japan version.
@@gemmyhamstercollection966 THe game was rare at the time which was 25 years ago.
Incredible find. Ill keep an eye out for it. Oh man.
Almost perfect, but using the GB as a controller for software emulation doesn't tickle my pickle as much as the GB interceptor would've.
Always so awesome to see you passionately with the most bizarre and insightful finds! Simply fun and beautiful in the history of gameboys.

Night of Fire was on Para Para Paradise (another game in the Bemani series) too.
Para Para had tons of Eurobeat too, Too bad those machines are very rare@@RAMChYLD
Dump the roms
I would love to see a stream of you trying to play other game boy games with that controller!
Agreed! There has to be at least some games which just require Down, Right, A, and B?
I knew I should have bought it when I saw it on Sendico!

A frickin wireless controller cartridge for the GBC is so niche and amazing I can't handle it 😂
I've never seen anyone so excited over a pastel pink piece of plastic.
the gameboy face cam and gameplay is really cool, its nice to watch you play a game from a clear angle without you struggling with controls
True to the title, no clue this existed. I appreciate your enthusiasm and deep pockets.

I was gonna say that! VBA has way outlived its usefulness now
Please could you link some resources about how to learn more/ do this set up?
Imagine the Copyright agreements madness this was probably been for Nintendo and Disney just for this niche and rare game to exist. I mean, they both protect their IP's with sharp teeth.
The game is by Konami, not Nintendo. Konami is already a juggernaut even back then. Disney talks in money which Konami can readily supply. So yeah.
@@RAMChYLD That makes sense since we've had no Mario and Mikey doing some sweet moves haha. And F yeah, the Konami splash screen was common on Super Nintendo and Gameboy games back then.

I love my epilogue. Truly an underrated device.
That was so cool lol. I kind of want one now 😅
I love how you show cool, crazy, awesome Gameboy stuff like this that I would have never known about on your channel.
TL;DW: It's a rare Disney Mickey DDR game.
I got this game on a small selling for 10 USD, It was a deal to me since the quality of this game is astonishing.
There were at least 4 titles. DDR Disney Mix GB as well as DDR GB 1 through 3.
Dude RGB 30? Powkiddy you are the perfect customer, 1:1 screen good Also for.Pico 8. You sould check that a hug from me and Carlos from Portugal
Uuh and back into the box to never be opened again and be left on the shelf forever.
interceptor in the longboy PauseChamp I bet you could make a gameboy as long as your leg

I've never seen an old rare game brand new in such a great condition
Sooo cool! I have been eyeing the inside gadgets controller adapter for a while. I think this is my sign to pull the trigger.
when will you show us the test cartridges for gba?
Never heard of it!? I helped develop it!
(Not really, but it’d be cool if that was true)
When are you going to make the sequel to the Gameboy sowing machine video??????

theres a gameboy game with an eprom at my local store, i should probably buy it
