Most big budget movies have costume departments with dozens of specialists (dyers, embroiderers, seamstresses, etc). The fact that you are able to do the work of an entire team of experts by yourself is really impressive.

It looks so beautiful! I love how soft and delicate the print looks. I didn't think you were going to do the tiny flowers! That's one of my favorite parts of the print. I'm excited to see how it looks when it's all pleated!

This actually adds a whole other dimension to the movie itself. Knowing what we know about how expensive such labor intensive and hand crafted clothes were in those days, that dress was probably the only luxury item Cinderella had.

This has been such a fun process to follow. On a different note, would you please consider making a video about what to look for when buying dress forms? I'm a little lost :)
I can't promise a video on it...but these are the 2 forms I have.

The classy form is definitely expensive and I honestly would say it's not really worth it...I do like it for when I'm draping a pattern (because it's fully pin-able), but at the same time I do draping on the other form all the time and it works just as well.
The other form is definitely one I recommend! It's sturdy and well built, has a good standard shape, and overall, worth it!

She did her best to replicate the design that's in the movie, and as far as I can tell, it looks spot on. I don't remember there being anything she said she was purposely doing different
I'm sure it's a bit different, it's hard to exactly replicate it what the skirt is not laying flat in any photos. But I tried my best!

That's pretty good💖 but I think, that colour has become more lighter, isn't it?🤔🤔🤔🤔
So, the camera actually has a hard time picking up the color...I've kinda been annoyed with this, but it still is the same color I dyed it...but also, once the under fabric is placed on this sheer fabric, it becomes a much better color!
