I am in no way held responsible for any Injury, damage of faults that arise from following this video. If unsure seek professional advice.
Don't connect the piggyback fuse to the one shown in this video. The radio remains on for a period after the ignition is turned off, the length of which depends if the car has been running. Instead use Fuse 22, which is the DRLs. Middle row, 5th fuse in from the left (10A). This will ensure radio goes off immediately with ignition 👍 Other than that, great tutorial 😊
Sometimes you have to switch the red and yellow wire, then it switches on and off by key
Hi, PJ I need your help! I am just about to fit a radio to my VW up - however I have overlooked one thing. My car already has DAB, so I need a cable that will enable me to use the existing dab aerial with the aftermarket radio. It's a 2015 Up that came with dab as standard
Fantastic video, helped me out loads. Part numbers very helpful. Quick question, you don't show the bit where you connect the red lead. Any chance of a little explanation as to which lead to context to?
Amazing tutorial. Im trying to adapt the phone holder for the Up! High 2016 (5U0035936) do you know if it's possible?
Thanks for this I'll have to get a new single DIN radio. As the Seat Mee has a terable radio. No DAB, poor FM reception, poor quality sound, and don't get me started about the Bluetooth! As it's dose not connected most of the time! The only redeeming feature in the Bluetooth track info, but as said Bluetooth dose not work most of the time!
Great tutorial. I wonder how does it affect the Garmin device you plug on top of the dashboard (with fuel consumption, navigation and stuff). Will it still work?
Hi! Can you put in description the refit radio model, radio mask and keys? Basically all the products on a buy list (like amazon), it would be helpful!
I'm gonna replace the stereo on my seat mii I hate the little screen on top of my dash
Good tutorial but i have a question. Why you show one adapter double and then fit one single?? Could be more than one option?? I ask because I seen that after the adaptor was with just one wite and not double. Thanks 👍
Great tutorial. Thanks for doing everything onehanded.
It's also noteworthy that when you disconnect the 2 button blocks and then turn on the ignition the airbag warning turns on in the dashboard. This can only be reset by the dealer or garage.
What an excellent clear video. Brilliant instructions snd tips and all the serial numbers of the parts required given so you can source them correctly. Would never have attempted this task without guidance as clear as this.
Great instructional video, based on it I recently fitted a one din Android 7 inch stereo to my Seat MII. Thanks for your efforts and listing the parts numbers.
Cheers for posting. Saved some head scratching finding those hidden screws.
Thanks PJ.used this video to remove a citigo radio as it had poor reception.hope the Kenwood is better.some handy tips.
Great tutorial video, I will be looking at changing our stereo soon.
Informative and clear. Thanks!
Great content! Thank you for uploading this!
It works also for Skoda Citigo. Brilliant, thanks
