I have two kids (2.5 and 6weeks) and I don’t homestead but wow I love watching your channel. It’s inspired me to continue to buy beef from a local farmer, make more meals at home and make more from scratch! Thanks for creating these videos and sharing your life ❤
I began making hamburger buns over a year ago. What a difference than those gross store bought ones. I like to add about a cup of mashed potatoes or 1/2 cup of potato flakes for really tender buns. They hold together better and don't get soggy like store bought buns. I also canned some carrots this week with jars that were on the counter.....maybe the best tip I've learned from your videos. Thanks for sharing!
Sweet Jessica, thanks for reminding us how important it is to make real food for our families that nourish both their bodies and souls. I too have family members with dietary restrictions and get inspiration from the adjustments you make to make my own and provide safe, tasty meals.
Thank you for taking the time to share your kitchen and your life! We recently began our dairy free journey and I appreciate your recipes and resources for being dairy free, but also homemade and nutritious. I put into practice your planner advice and was able to really improve my ability to manage homeschooling a large family and various other responsibilities. Thanks, again, for sharing these aspects of your life for the benefit of others!
Hannah looks so adorable when she’s eating. Takes me back to when mine started their first foods ❤
Jessica I always enjoy how you care for your family. I agree with you about home made bread being better and I have a goal to bake for my daughter’s family. Growing up my parents had a little country grocery store attached to our house so we ate outdated bread from the store. I think that’s why I’ve never cared much for bread. I’m still amazed at how good fresh bread is
these are one of my favorite "series" So much I can implement into my weekly meals for the grand twins and adults. Nutritious and tasty for our families! Thank you again Jessica!!!!
I sure wish all this information had been around when I was a young mother. Now I’m a young grandmother so it’s fun to show my children that it’s possible to do so much at home. They don’t feel they have the time or find it helpful, oh well. I truly appreciate all your efforts to show us how you do things. Love and blessings to you and the family.
Insect netting off Amazon completely takes care of cabbage moths. We grow all the brassicas without issue and no sprays!
Burgers, fries and coleslaw 🤩 Probably one of my favourite combos.
It really is a gift to ourselves to prep different items for later in the week. I just made muffins, apple crisp and a couple pumpkin breads yesterday. I'm always grateful when I put the work in up front so it gives me time for other things later in the week, especially when it's some relaxation!
Homemade cole slaw is the best!
Whether its a tip for using leftovers in new and inspiring ways or ideas for the many different ways to preserve foods, I always learn something new from your videos. The grace and peace in which you live and share your life always leaves us inspired . Thank you.
Outside the US it's juice if it's alcohol free, cider if alcoholic. For those of you outside the US, here we call it juice if ALL solids have been strained out of the juice or if a steam juicer has been used (so it's cooked, basically), if it's raw and there's a small amount of tiny solids we call it cider. If it has alcohol we call it HARD cider.
I'm so impressed with how nourishing and healthy your meals are. I find it difficult to be frugal and do that, and I don't like cheesy casseroles every night. Picking up some tips!
All children love hamburger and French fries. All of the food looked delicious!
These are my favorite videos ! Also a Canadian from Québec :)
I love applesauce on homemade bread. Childhood memories
Good Sunday morning ❤️..
I’m always amazed at how much you accomplish in a day! Especially with having a baby! Whenever I’m able to get all my baking and prep done, I think of you and feel I’m having a “Jessica Day”! I’m always inspired by you to waste less, and use more. Thanks for taking the time to share your tips! Also, where do you buy your nursing dresses from? You always look modest and beautiful, and I’m on the hunt for some. Blessings
Okay, that ballerina has an incredible high kick!!!
Your hamburger supper and your French fry & eggs breakfast looked delicious!
Thank you for another great Sunday morning video, love spending time with your family, blessings!
I love watching you with your children. I am going to make my first sour kraut this week. I’m making it with a 90year old man friend of ours. We are using his mom’s recipe. I am so excited not just for making the kraut but having such a knowledgeable teacher. Love from Missouri
Good frosty morning from SE Ohio!
Love the hamburger buns.
You are amazing! ❤. My kids are all grown and out of the house, how I wish I would have had CZcams available to learn from when they were young. Our dream is to get freeze dryer someday. Wow! Now my goal is to make dairy free milk. I have issues with dairy so this is amazing and I love the fact that you don't add major sugar to sweeten it. ❤
What a wonderful video today. Love to see how you feed your large family... and all from scratch. You absolutly amaze me, Jessica. Btw, if you ever have that pulp leftover from making milk and you don't use it up in some recipe, feed it to your chickens and turn it into eggs! My girls go gaga when they see me coming out with that special bowl, lol. I admire so much how you never let anything go to waste.
That meal looked delicious! I love you showing us how to use the freeze dried smoothie - NEVER would’ve thought of doing that - and making the cashew milk. Hannah is adorable and such a happy baby. TFS
Another Sunday morning of enjoying one of your videos as I drink my first cup of coffee. Thank you so much Jessica. I just love them.
Thank you Jessica! I have applesauce bread in the oven as I watch your video! Thank you for the wonderful ideas. I thought your burger meal was beautiful. I know your kids appreciate all the hard work you put into growing their healthy bodies.
Thanks for the tip about the cake carrier for other baked goods. I'd never thought of that!
Thanks for sharing these ideas!
My grandmother always made applesauce bread. I absolutely loved it! I have never made it for my family. Now is the time! Thank you for the reminder!
Can't believe how big Hannah has gotten! So sweet!
I just did the applesauce loaf. I did it in muffin size and it was perfect for a dozen of big muffins. I cooked it for 20 min. Thanks for sharing the recipe!
Oh yum!
Jessica, love your channel! I look forward to this Sunday morning inspiration.
I truly love your videos!! ❤
I always enjoy your videos, I learn new things all the time. God bless.
I absolutely love your channel. I always get at least one new idea from you every time I watch your videos. Thank you for taking your time to put these together. I can’t wait to try that applesauce loaf you made! It looks delicious. And I’ve never thought about using my cake container to store loaves of bread before. What a fantastic idea. I’m going to pull mine down and get it washed up and ready to use.
I love to make plant based yogurt. I use soy milk for ours and I use that yogurt for salad dressings too. I have frozen a small jar of it, so that I can use that as my culture rather than buying one. It used to work when I made yogurt from milk, so I am hoping that it will work for the plant based as well.
Love it!
Love these meal ideas!
Thank you Jessica for sharing your sink strainer trick!! It works so well! And for cheap too!
You are such a great cook. I love your channel .

Love the videos, and the reminder of the families food allergies.
Looks great
Hi Jessica. I love your channel. I also love your meals, good clean wholesome food. Thank you 🌷🇨🇦
Hi, Jessica-I love your channel. I 60 years old and developed issues from the 🦠. I have many food allergies and sensitivities, some are anaphylactic. I cannot have, dairy, eggs, gluten, nightshades, coconut, nuts and some seeds, chocolate,/caffeine. And I also, can only have 75 grams of carbohydrates a day which includes high carb vegetables. And the timing of my meals has to be precise and it must be a complete meal without snacks in between and the carbs eaten only after the complete meal. I’m planning on trying this cashew milk that you made, but first I need to google how many carbs in cashew milk to see if it’s worth it to me. I may have to omit the dates. I found a recipe yesterday for chicken pot pie soup without diary and crust. To thicken and get the creaminess, the person used cauliflower! I cannot wait to try this. I’ve been wanting something like this that is hearty and warm and cozy for the season. I discovered chuck roast. It’s so easy. I just place it in my all clad stainless steel stock pot and put Celtic sea salt over it with a little water. And let it cook in the oven for 4-5 hours and do my other chores. There are no bones to deal with. It’s so easy. It just falls apart. I serve with a frozen vegetable. It’s easier for me than preparing other vegetables and not being able to eat potatoes in a pot roast to just either roast frozen veggies or make a blended soup. I get inspired to see you work so hard to feed your family. Thank you for sharing with all of us!
You're definitely building healthy habits and bodies in your children. Convenience foods already made in the store aren't healthy at all. Many of our grocery food products are banned in other countries, because of the toxic ingredients, I'm sure you know. These are the best meals. Truly a proverbs woman.
Great video ❤
Love your children's expressive eyes.
Very good. Thank you. Blessings
Beautiful video as always. Love you guys. *Hugs*
Love the recipe box❤
Enjoyed
You have such good helpers. . You are an inspiration. Children who have special allergies. God bless you and pray that everybody stays safe and well.. Awesome saying hello to Adam. I really believe sometimes fathers are neglected. .

Good Sunday morning. Its always a pleasure to watch your videos. The kids are fun to watch, especially moss Hannah. Lol 💜 Her expressions are adorable. Shes growing up so darn fast. Love the idea of the applesauce bread. Gonna have to try it soon. My grandkids would love it. I make apple butter and applesauce each year when I find apples on sale. Yum yum. God bless you and the family and be safe out there.🙏🏻💜🙏🏻💜
The food looks great, special for healthy eating. Thank you for your time.
This was very enjoyable & I think your food looks delicious! Ty Jessica for sharing your recipes & smart ideas!😊
Good morning!
What blessed kids to get to eat such yummy food. I’m hungry now!
I love your applesauce loaf recipe! Made it many times!❤
So glad!
Thanks for sharing
I always enjoy these videos
Thank you so much 💕
Dairy free here, too. Adding a little bit of Pamona's pectin to nut milk yogurts makes a thick and creamy yogurt. And no gumminess. Or extra sugars, etc.
How do you make it? I buy all my dairy free yogurt I don't any equipment
Love watching your food prep videos and what you use to make things. Also, the baby is getting so big!
The hamburger meal looked really good. It all looked good but those stood out to me.
I love all your videos! Hanna is such a cutie and growing so fast. I will have to try the apple sauce loaf
