TOOLS NEEDED:
Selection of hook pick,90° pick,angle pick, etc.
10mm
T30
H4 or 4mm allen hex wrench
Correct hydraulic fluid
Patience
total repair time depending on skill level 30 min -2 hours

Also can you replace just the strut that has the hydraulic lines on it or do both the strut and lines have to be replaced? I see the O ring on my has broken loose on my 2010 srx

My take on repairs:
Do it once
Do it right
Or don't do it at all...
This customer request just the cartridge, so I did as they asked
"Chain is only as strong as it's weakest link" theory...
Replaced the cartridge, now that's sealed, However, the psi found the next weakest link, just like yours, the 1 cent o-ring was leaking
NOW I had to do it all, unfortunately the customer was down with the truck for longer time & add'l labor. Minimal but at the end they were ecstatic and even said " I should have done it all the 1st time
I'm all I'm favor of helping people save $$, sometimes shortcuts are the long way to the finish
