    Most helpful video ever! Thank you so much. ❤ Subscribed and joining the groups. I’m planning to go to Thailand (Koh Samui) in February and I want to stay long term. One question, when doing the education visa, are you allowed to travel to other places in Thailand and “miss” some classes? Is there still the possibility to attend the classes online? Thanks again! :)

    Dude, I was just thinking about when you were going to release a new updated video on this. Watching it now. Will edit my post with lots of additional questions most likely lol
    EDIT: Great video. You've covered pretty much all of my questions. I just have a couple more.
    Chiara mentions attaching pictures and attendance records for immigration reporting/visa extension during your 8 months of education. How is that done if you're doing the offered online language course?
    What visa run agents are recommended for visa runs from Koh Samui to Malaysia?

    • @THAILANDEASY_
      @THAILANDEASY_  Před rokem +1

      Happy to hear I did it on time!
      For the attendance record etc, the school will notify you about those details, there are still some things you can't talk in CZcams, you can text me in Telegram Group.
      I Have my friend using Visa Run service, I've attached the details in the description. They have just few companies working in Samui now

      How many years consecutive can you do a ed visa ?

    • @WushuTaz
      @WushuTaz Před 2 měsíci

      @@andrewknowles301 At this particular language school in Koh Samui, you can do a 9 month Thai language ED Visa then do a border run in 1 day to Malaysia and then sign up for the 6 month advanced Thai language ED Visa giving you a total of about 15 months. If your primary language isn't Thai, afterwards you could then sign up for their 12 month English language ED Visa giving you a total of 27 months. I suggest you contact the school directly since the immigration rules change all the time.

    What if I want to leave Thailand with 'grey area' reasons (in my opinion they're not) and come back. Your example was a bit extreme, of course, leaving for 3 months expecting to be able to return. I'm curious what your opinion/experience on this. Maybe you've seen people doing this. My realistic example is: what if I have a re-entry permit and leave Thailand on Wednesday, go to Boracay, then coming back Tuesday, so after 6 days, maybe missing 1 class in this process. Let's say I want to do this 2 times during my 6 month ed visa. I'll attend all other classes, obviously.
    I'm really looking forward to your advice on this. It's very important to me know this beforehand, so I can plan accordingly.
    Thank you!

    • @THAILANDEASY_
      @THAILANDEASY_  Před rokem +1

      I'll ask your question next time I visit the school. From my friends' experience, they ask questions in Bangkok when you return. They don't want you to use the visa just for a long stay even this is what it's meant to be for. So, Education Visa is not the best option if you are planning to leave Thailand from time to time.

      @mradieltube3268 You do have to study at a registered school whether it's for language or muay thai. I went to Patong Language School and fixed the visa. Visa cost 15000 baht for 3 months. Can extended for up to a year. Cost for a 12 week course 13800 baht.

    Very helpful video. Hard to find complete information about this kind of Visa. Thanks my friend.
    When will you make a new update?
    A few couple of questions in advance if you can anwser:
    When applying through the Embassy in our country, is it possible to do it and get it approved in advance, like for example, in 6 months advance, so you can plan the trip, condo renting, insurance, etc, and define a date much in advance when you want the the Ed Visa to start? Or as soon as its approved you get limited time to enter the country and start?
    If you choose the Thai course of 8 months, but you intend to stay a full year (12 months), is it possible to continue in Thailand, even with a border run, with another kind of visa, for example a exemption visa?
    Thanks in advance if you can provide the anwsers.

      Hello! You can apply for ED visa at the Embassy in Your country. First, check with your embassy if they provide this type of visa. 2 - Contact the school to arrange for you all the papers for the application. 3 - apply at your embassy.
      For the Classes you have to attend - better to contact the school, they will explain you the easiest way.
