𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐓! Officially the cost of VISA extension every 90 Days is 1900 THB. Be aware some Immigrations can tell you to pay 3000 THB. Again! Officially it’s 1900 THB!! 𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐓! During the COVID time you can do Student Visa at the Local Immigration without leaving Thailand. As usually you have to apply for your Visa in any Thai embassy outside of Thailand. But! There is a ‘non official’ immigration charge for that -20,000 THB!
Hi Ed. Thankyou for a great video. 1. In a nutshell cost of ed visa for 12 months is 35000 baht. Correct? 2. Any renewals to be done in this 12 month period or i can relax for 1 year without any immigration visits etc? 3. Aside from the retirement visa valid for age 50 plus what other options of 1 to 5 year are there for persons aged under 50? Forget Elite visa its very expensive. 5. A full list of cheapest and longest options would be great:) Thankyou
Hi, 1 - So the Visa itself is 1900 thb , and every 3 month 1900 thb 2 - You have to visit Immigration every 3 months 3 - Volunteer Visa, I'm planning to make a Video about it too one day There is also Thailand Digital Nomad Visa going to be implemented (they say soon)
I just have a quick question this is the route for a language school not for a university route am I correct? I also wanna say thank you very much for making this video that was very informational and I appreciate it.
Excellent video thank you very much. If I get education visa ,can my wife and my son follow my visa and move with me to thailand? If yes ..how much that will cost ? Best regards Riaz
Officially, you have to attend the classes. I advise you to contact few schools and talk to them directly. Because many people apply for Classes just to have a Visa
Hey mate, how Ya goin? Thanks for your great videos with awesome oil. Do you know any language school around Phuket town ? Like to do ED visa, I’m living in cape panwa. Thanks mate🙏
@@THAILANDEASY_ yes I’ve seen this video of yours…. Remember on Thai web site they say you can only buy a condo if you have a pension of 35k usd per year. This is for people over 50 on a retirement visa.
Amazing video! Quick question about 7:20 in this video regarding online learning. She says "you have to be a resident where you issue the visa" and then it was hard for me to understand what you said after. Did you say you have to be "on Samui"? Like you need to rent a place in Koh Samui if you attend this school because the school itself is located here? And so this also means the rule is you must rent a place in the same area that your school is located, even if you are learning online?
Thanks for the info. When it comes to having health insurance for the Thai Pass, how long (duration) should it cover for, if you are going on a student visa to study in thailand? If you could share your thoughts, I'd be very grateful!
thanks for all these nice info! One question: do language schools have holidays? --so that we can take a break from the city and visit another one for like 10days? thanks in advance!
Thank you so very much for this video! It was of great help! A few questions though. She mentions 8 hours of class time each week which is required by immigration. I've seen another CZcamsr in Ao Nang only needing to do 4 hours of class time per week remotely (I understand remote classes may change post-Covid) but still 4 hours vs 8 hours is a big difference. Also, they weren't required to stay in the same area/province. Do the rules change depending on what province or language school you choose? Next, how much additional outside of class personal study time will you need to do to keep up with the classes? She mentions you need to show rental contract. Do you need to have paid for rent for the entire 8 months you will be studying in advance or can you show a monthly contract?
Hello Bryan. There is an updated post-covid Video about student Visa will be made soon so I'll have a chance to ask your questions. The rules, however, about staying in the same province and the mandatory classes hours should be the same everywhere. how much additional outside of class personal study time will you need to do to keep up with the classes - you don't really have to study additionally at home, only if you really want to learn it properly for yourself Do you need to have paid for rent for the entire 8 months you will be studying in advance or can you show a monthly contract - your monthly contract will absolutely work. Rent agreement + owner ID copy with signature (just in case)
@@THAILANDEASY_ Thank you so much for the response Edward! I'll be looking forward to your post-Covid student visa video as I'm very much interested in applying for it probably in Koh Samui and so I may start my studies in October or November of this year.
Thanx for the video! Sorry, I still don't understand one thing. If it takes up to 5 weeks, do I need to do a visa run before the application is through? Do they take the passport away while the application is in process, or you can keep your passport?
"they can apply the same course again which is surprise" the guy who said that really needs to work on his English, my god. He has no idea what the word "apply" means, it means something completely different from "apply for" (to you foreigners).
Can i ask???if yu already applied for a tourist visa and yu want to extend by changing the visa to ED visa is it possible???while your in thailand already??
To change your tourist Visa for a ED Visa you have to leave the country in order to apply in the Embassy outside Thailand (for example Malaysia). But. As during COVID it was not easy to return to Thailand and Malaysia was difficult to travel too they found a way - 'not official' charge (let's call it this way) - 20k baht and you don't leave Thailand
Nevermind, I have an Indian passport. We (now) only get 30 days tourist visa. Extension only 7. There won't be enough time to convert it and do all the work
Hi! Sorry but I don't really get the explanation in this one but I hope you can answer me! Here's my question I'm planning to move in Thailand when I turn 18 and I'm planning to study there and stay there for more than 1yr do I still need ED/STUDENT VISA? EVEN IF I HAVE thai non-immigrant (STUDEN) visa Or is ED/STUDENT VISA and thai non-immigrant student visa is the same?
So if I understand correctly I can arrive with my 30 day stamp and immediately apply for the ED visa which may take 3-5 weeks but it's okay anyway if it takes 5 weeks because I can extend my first 30 day stamp a little bit incase it takes 5 weeks? That would be so good because applying for the tourist visa seems so complicated right now compared to just oging there and getting the 30 day stamp
There is something can not be mentioned on camera unfortunately. In Post Covid you have to make a Visa run for example to Malaysia with all the papers preapred (3-5 weeks to prepare this papers) to get a ED Visa stamp. new video is coming soon
