Just found your channel. I love it!! So with Annie Sloan do you need to prime the darker woods first?

Hello and welcome to the party! You do not need to prime first for darker woods ❤️

I never sand or prime and I ALWAYS use Annie Sloan!

Looks great,,,,do you think the container you had would also be enough to do 6 chairs?

No. Chairs take up a bunch of paint. So many crevices. I would get a liter for that many.

It’s been a few months, how is the paint holding up and how often do you need to wax pieces and is the was tacky or does it dry without being a little sticky tacky? Thank you!

It’s just as perfect as the day I made this video. Alone with all the cabinets in our house and other waxed furniture. Once wax cures, it makes a very nice, durable finish that looks velvet. Plus it’s easier then poly. Lol. Not tacky ever. If it’s tacky, too much wax was left on the piece. And in 6 years I have never rewaxed something because it “needed” it. It doesn’t disappear or anything ❤️❤️ I have a video on the basics of chalk paint and wax. I’ll post the link below.

Hey there, may I ask what are the measurements of your table?
