I'd have walked away half crazy after tediously poking through 187 holes, grabbed my .410, and shot the rest from 20 ft away. Then paid an out of work bud trimmer to install, glue & cut the strands.
Honestly, I can't do tedious stuff like that. My hard off to you.

Hi just fitting a starlight in my ML the headline material is quite spongy when cutting fibre optic strands do you press into lining and cut or just cut with no pressure
one question I bought a similar kit. where did you connect it? mines comes with a cigarette connector! but its all the way in the front and my understanding is you need to put the box on the back of your car?
What’s the easiest way to pull it out and putting back in ? Does it have to bend a little ?

Hey man can you do a video of how you power the lights in the car?
Buy an "add a fuse" plug for your fuse box. Attach the negative wire to a metal bolt on the chassis to ground the system and crimp the positive wire onto the add a fuse. Insert the original fuse in one slot and put a new fuse in the second slot.

How do you get the headliner out of the truck do you need to remove all the seats?
To poke the holes you used the upholstery pins but i cant find any that are .75 mm
so did you go 50/50 on the diffrent size holes

Some starlight kits don’t have the twinkle motor, if your one does have it you can find the twinkle mode on your led app

You can put it wherever you want. For me im putting it in the trunk but i see people putting it behind their backseats

Can you please provide me the link of the tool you used to cut the excessive stars in the end? I want them to be cut right by the edge I saw you used a plyer but i need the exact size and same amount of tilt to cut exactly from the edge of the headliner. Thanks !
Knipex Electronic super knips is what I used, it cuts flush to the headliner

Do you live in the southern states? I'm wondering how the fiber optics hold up to the alabama heat. I just installed this kit on my truck and I'm worried that the metal on my roof will melt the plastic stands.
i heard of this too, you can add insulation to the roof of your car like 1/3 of an inch thick
