Serbia has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 14 times since making its debut in 2007. Serbia previously participated as part of Yugoslavia (both the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia from 1961 to 1991 and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in 1992) and as Serbia and Montenegro (2004-2006). Serbia won the contest on its debut as an independent country in 2007, with "Molitva" performed by Marija Šerifović. The country's other top five results are third place in 2012, with "Nije ljubav stvar" performed by Željko Joksimović, and fifth place in 2022, with "In corpore sano" performed by Konstrakta. Serbia's other top ten results are sixth place (2008) and tenth place (2015).

One of my top favourite countries in this contest!I love how diverse and out of the ordinary their ESC discography is,also being a country that mostly sings in their language is amazing too(especially considering to me at least Serbian is a very beautiful language)as for which is my favorite entry from them, definitely Oro,we can all agree it's the best host entry too!
Same here, I love that they sing most of the time in Serbian and in different genres. I remember Čaroban being my favorite in 2011 which was when I started watching ESC live. They also produced an English version of it but the Serbian version was superior.
Konstrakta and her song In Corpore Sano might be the most original, unique and special song I've ever heard at Eurovision. And Konstrakta is just charismatic and iconic.
She's also very humble as a person. She was asked at the press conference what was going through her head as the qualifications were announced, and she said it was a nice day outside, so even if she didn't qualify, it was still lovely weather to enjoy.

People always say serbia only sends balkan ballads but here are so many genres not only ballads😅
My opinion on Serbian enteries
2007- also my winners. There is lots to say here, but the only thing I'll say is that this song is legendary and I love it.
2008- Zeljko masterclass. Great entry, deserved it's placing.
2009- robbed imo. Sure it's not a good entry, but I like it.
2010- one of my favourites, sang by the only Milan. Very underrated as well.
2011- I like this, but it isn't as good as their other enteries. Nice voice tho.
2012- my winner for 2012. Amazing entry, ANOTHER Zeljko masterclass. Amazing, this song and everything about it.
2013- what a downgrade. It's not bad, but I believe that it's Serbia's worst entry. It is a qualifier for me tho, not that bad, but just feels repetitive.
2015- nice voice, that's pretty much it, not a big fan of the sang. Nevertheless, it's another qualifier.
2016- I like this one, improvement, but it's nothing special. Overall, just s little underrated.
2017- Serbia's worst entry along with 2013. I don't see why people call this underrated tbh, it would sound better in Serbian. Not bad tho.
2018- Serbian returns! I really like this for some reason, it feels like an old folk song in a way but modernised, which just makes it better.
2019- I like the voice of hers, but the song isn't that good. Overall, good entry.
2020- shame it was cancelled. I like this one but not that much since I am not a big fan of modern music.
2021- same here, but the contest went on. This is slightly better even tho I'm not a big fan of the staging.
2022- I love this one. Funny with a great singer. I hope she returns to reclaim her price one day. My winner for semi final 2 and possibly the show.
Overall: 8/10
To think Zeljko did double duty in 2008 (hosting + composing home entry).
I wonder if you noticed that 2016's Sanja is actually a member of Hurricane... oh well, was. They are separating in few months...

Serbia serves culture almost every year. Either through language or through a baltic sound design or both. And each year they are serving something completely different to the year prior. This makes me very excited to see what they bring in 2023!

To be honest, I am Serbian, but Kruna was the most boring songs EVER. I have to admit that I gave up of ESC until Konstrakta. After her I am very much interested for our alternative music scene. She is a fresh air ❤

"Nije ljubav stvar" was my winner in 2012 and ten years later, Konstrakta was my winner! Best Serbian entries ever! Love love LOVE Nevena Bozovic too, such an underrated queen! Also amazing of Jelena to get such a high placement in 2008 even though she sang for the host country! Serbia is sooo amazing!

For me the best serbian entry is Lane Moje from Zeljko Joksimovic, which placed 2nd. But of course it doesn‘t count because the state called Serbia&Montenegro.

The times when Serbia failed to qualify, they were all so close to qualify (10th in 2009, 11th in 2013 and 2017). Truly an amazing country with so many beautiful songs and talented singers.
2018 was my favorite Serbian entry until this year. Looking forward to what they bring next year and for years to come!

I was surprised that last year Hurricane didn't get top 5, the song is really great and i thought it was much better than some songs in higher position, its really energetic and wild, maybe its just me but i like those types of songs more than "stand in one place, sing, and be done" types of songs
The jury screwed them up... Jury placed them 21st, televote 9th
This song wasn't good. It's trash and lyrics doesn't make sense at all. For some reason Hurricane girls have so much better song then this two songs who were for ESC.
