- The TRC AWD Honda build series continues! This time we visit Dale from Gear Driven to teardown, inspect and rebuild our AWD K-series Honda CRV transmission. Our goal was to provide as much value to anyone looking to learn more about the AWD Honda transmission. Dale is truly a master at his craft, he doesn't skip a beat as he completes the teardown and rebuild of our fresh 800HP capable AWD Honda transmission! Enjoy!

There a lot of people who can build a trans or rebuild but not like dale he’s a master peace when comes to trans 👍
It seems Dale has developed his craft to an expert level. I’m sure from the beginning till now he has learned from trail and error to his own admission but this is how you get to this level of expertise. Impressive given he wasn’t trained from Honda factory. There are so many things that need to be done, measured and installed correctly or else it will not work right. I appreciate that he has to check, mark, and document that everything is done. Transmissions are so complicated and someone with his experience and work ethic is only type of shop I would trust. As you can see he does this solely by himself probably because he can ensure it was done right and not have to double check a helper’s work. You can tell also by his customer’s reviews of his work.
