We have more vids to come on this beauty and I'm super impressed how it handled for what was a junk day weather wise. No stabilization onboard for these flights. Enjoy, Subscribe give it a like and consider Joining the channel if you like what you see. Thank You

Nice save Ryan! Crazy windy!!!
Such a cool plane!
Nice pilot 👩✈️ Ryan!!!!
Thanks P R .
Excellent review as usual.
🇬🇧
Hello pilot Ryan and bobby k well done gentleman as always. Just having fun RC'n with friends and family members
Great job considering the winds guys, most wouldn’t have even attempt, so props to ya, beautiful jet, thanks for sharing👍🏼👍🏼👊🏼💥🔥
this!
Damn good flight for that wind. Stuck the landing to. Great job and great plane!
Can't wait to get mine, thanks for the info on the set up.Great flying in the wind!
Thanks! Mine is on order. I hope the boarders open soon to pick it up.
Super sick flight Ryan! Thanks for leaving the failed take off as it does help for set ups. Out of all the videos that you posted with Capt. Mike and Bobby K, this one has to take the cake with the sick winds and no gyro. I don't fly my jets with a gyro, but I don't have the guts to fly in 20+ mph winds either. You're the man, my brother. God bless and keep on doing what you do for the hobby. It's greatly appreciated.
WOW what a great jet. Flown in terrible wind but made to look great by a great pilot Ryan
Nice flying and with no gyro it looked that good wow!! 👍🏼👍🏼 That landing looked good too with all that wind!! Awesome!!🙌🏼🙌🏼
Great job Ryan. Can’t wait to get mine!
Great Flight Ryan.
I’d be shaking if I were flying in that much wind. Great video 👍🏼
Awesome flying Ryan! I am really looking forward for getting mine
Beautiful plane and some great flying in the wind ... can’t wait to see how much it will be in Aus
Pretty amazing review in a Tornado. Speaks to the planes stability. 👍
I can hardly wait for my Mig 29 to come in!!!! I flew in 15 mph wind today
Rough winds+ RC Jet=scary flight!😀lol. Great flying Ryan. Can't wait for the calm day flight. AirHammer out!!
Even with the wind was a solid flier! Great job on the sticks Pilot Ryan and good job on the camera Bobby!
Nice flying plane looks great 👍🏻
"Dead kitten on the mike" ... hilarious !!
Silly wind out there lol! Can’t wait for the calm evening flight video!
Me too, thanks for stopping by
Man it looks good in the air!
Mad skills flying in that wind. Looks like you still had fun.
Watching now!!!
Would like to see this mig fly with a lighter Lipo 3300-3700 maybe then it would be a contender to be a grass flyer. Nice flying as always pilot Ryan.
YOU CRAZEE SON!!! LMAO. Just Kidding! VERY BRAVE Is more like it to Fly in that wind! LOL. Very Nice Pilot 👩✈️ Ryan!!! 💪💪
Fantastic, just fantastic. Arrows RC has really upped their game with this baby. Put themselves up there with the big boys in this field. Can't wait to see what they have coming down the pipeline in the future.
Nice flying, as usual, Ryan. Im obviously excluding the flightline corsair maiden from that comment. Lol.
That was a heck of a landing for the conditions.
When a pilot says "that was interesting", you translate that to "wow! I Damn nearly crashed"😉
Great shake down flight Ryan, I'm sure you'll get it dialed in next time. Jeff in LA USA
Ok the wind made me feel like you were going to crash it on takeoff but that's nothing second try great job the flight was good thanks for sharing
Using your link to push the button King Rat !!!👍🏻✌🏻🖖🏻
Thanks, please use the one on my site. I’m not sure the video one is updated
@@PilotRyanMedia just pushed the button !!! I’m painting her camouflage green on green with gray on bottom. Got to watch the gear mod video and he’ll it’s got LEDs so some burners is a must 👍🏻✌🏻🖖🏻Thanks King Rat
I am loving the paint scheme on this bird. Sounds great! I can’t wait for a flight with less wind but it seemed to handle it just fine. If I heard correctly you added up trim for takeoff then a bit more in flight. Definitely something to keep in mind. Thanks for the great video guys. #stickemmonkeypants
I'm so jealous I really want one!
Nice
That wind though, holy shit
Pretty Awesome Flying Dude !
Thanks Mike
First off, OUTSTANDING landing for those conditions.
That said, you really need to re-visit this plane on a calm day and give it fair chance. You couldnt do any of the things a normal wring-out shows, rolls, inverted, high speed passes, etc. That was crazy to even fly in.
Over 20k views! What??? Is this the Flite Test channel?
I’ll give you credit I never maiden in strong winds it stresses me out a lot hell of a job other than the first take off attempt haha🤙
LOL! You gotta have balls to maiden a small edf jet like this in that wind FO SHO!
Very good and the winds must of been crazy. 6s power will take it
Arrows Mig 29 available here: www.hobbyzone.com/arrows/AH013P.html?affid=420234
Hey Ryan, my Mig 29 is not powering up. I've check all my connections. No joy. The jet is beeping once I hook up battery, but that's it. No light on the receiver. The receiver worked fine when I powered it with my Apprentice. Thanks, Vince The light is on the pc board for the nav lights. Interesting. On my apprentice, I'm getting voltage across the red and brown wire to the receiver(middle to outside) but on my Mig, the voltage is across the orange/yellow and the brown wire to the receiver(outside to outside). The black and white wires from the esc are connected to the outer most wires on the connector(orange/yellow and the brown).
There’s a bec that needs plugged in also. Look under the screw down cover underneath. I think I showed this in my assembly vid or at least mentioned it
@@PilotRyanMedia You did mention it, but I thought it was just for the lights. Got it running. Thanks.
Wonderful, what's the thrust developed. If anyone sees after' 4.45 minutes may not believe it's a toy . Wonderfully designed it was sustaining rolls , no drop . Excellent.
What's the thrust it develops?
Definitely cutting the back springs but believe now it will fly off grass easier than the SU
It's a really good looking plane. Gutsy of you to do the maiden in those conditions. Nose heavy on a 4000 all the way back kinda sucks. I only have 5000s, but I'm not afraid to add tail weight to get the Cg right ( added 3 ounces on the very back of my FW Mirage). Getting the Cg right makes a huge difference in takeoffs and landings on these EDFs. I fly from a good grass field, we see no trouble with EDFs as small as 70mm singles. I gotta say though that this plane doesn't look like it'd do too well on our field, that nose gear looks to be too softly sprung. On a grass field that really drags the nose down to a negative angle of attack. I've also watched the videos on the Hobbyzone site and the plane doesn't look particularly fast and vertical performance also appears to be lacking a bit. It sure would be pretty in a slow, high alpha fly by though. I'd sure like to see a video made on a calmer day, with no armaments, from a grass strip if you could manage it one day, with special attention to showcasing straight line speed and vertical performance. Great honest job on your videos, you always show the bad as well as the good. If I buy one of these, and it's very, very tempting, I'll order through your link. Dave
The sound this jet makes is incredible!!! Is it dual edf? Must be with that sound!
Powered right off the deck on the second flight. Almost seemed like it has two different stalls and quick recovery with power and altitude. A heavy pack will have this plane moving.
Good stuff!! Roaring top 3300 should be awesome in this
Agreed
Man I want a F-18 this size with full stabs!
It might be the wind, but this plane left me feeling a bit underwhelmed.
Fnrc has vids and stuff if you look for thr channel
Its hard when you work with certain brands to give any negative comments even if you don't like something.
Great flight Ryan. What would you say to the best to worst wind conditions to fly?
Always fun flying in a little breeze. Keep at it, as it will make anyone a better pilot. Cool video. Nose heavy with the 4000?
Yes
Hi, messing around with the wheel diameters can solve a poor AOA. (bigger for the front, smaller and/or the mains). Ryan would you mind sharing the diameter of the wheels and the diameters of the axles. Would be of great help. Thanks!
Little breezy lol,
Some slick flying Ryan. A beautiful plane for sure. Still can't get my head around flying an enemy plane. :) I do have hope though that some company will come out with an affordable F14. If they can do the twin Mig at that price, surely they can do the twin Tomcat. Vince
its that an xt60 connector? is that what comes with the Mig or did you install it seperately?
Comes with it
I want one,
don't have a runway so is this jet hand launchable?
I’m considering this jet for purchase) Great job in that wind guys 💨 from 1 star to 5 stars how would you rate the power of the mig
Great job handling that bird in the wind. I was wondering about how she handled and I know there was wind but watching it seems super sensitive on any slow flight. I will definitely be watching for non windy flying before I buy this one. I'd love to see how well she handles grass to.
Great plane, but it's not a Mig-21. Please correct the description as you probably don't want to get bombarded with more comments like this.
Thanks force of habit. Fixed it . Seriously thanks
Im Ryan's defense, the 1 and the 9 are right next to each other on the keyboard.
We all want to know which is better E flight mig or the arrow mig.
Great flying, putting in the flaps made it do a nice 3d trick, Nice save there :-) great going with this vid, finally some "real" info. Love to see you fly it without the hurricane winds:-)
Yeah that was crazy
Sounds amazing. Nice flying in the wind PR and good to see a failed take off, that'll help a lot of guys out on their maidens.
Que precio tendría el avión mig19
So you never carried out the adjustments to the undercarriage?
Here is my video to the adjustments. czcams.com/video/PqBAzlIOEzI/video.html
@@PilotRyanMedia Awesome, many thanks. Definitely will take up your suggestion on adding a quarter inch of material to the nose strut
can it be a first edf jet ?
I’d say no. Look at the Marlin jet they sell or their hand launch viper.
Not a good plane at all... Can't belive you leave that failed take off in your video!... sketchy plane to fly... I wouldn't buy this plane at all. Your landing was just ok, but not silky smooth...
Thumbs up for your video! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 Greetings from Douglas, Arizona 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾🌵🇵🇷😷
What other plane would handle a maiden in a 20mph crosswind without any stabilization as well. The first take off is a lesson that the book won’t give. Up elevator at neutral and take off flaps or prepare to stay down. I leave it in for discerning pilots to learn from. Slick polished corporate videos don’t help folks.
@@PilotRyanMedia Still to complicated for my taste...I ordered an A-10 instead... The smaller eflite 64mm one... That one isn't as complicated... Up elevator at neutral to me doesn't sound right!... Another thing, I wouldn't fly my planes under those wind conditions... I don't have that much money to keep repairing them or buying more every time I crash one...👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Nah man, leaving that stuff in the videos is what makes the difference between a proper reviewer and a corporate shill.
@@wtfmimshag Ok... I appreciate that, but that exactly made me chose other model...👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
She's way heavy in the nose. Flying around with that much trim is not great.
Yes and not uncommon for edfs to have up at neutral. I don’t design them just sort them out. Book didn’t mention neutral settings and even noseheavy I’m within the cg range as stated. This will give folks something to go on
Yep very nose heavy
Yes, it was windy, but you can tell that bird does not naturally want to be in the air......no thanks.
Heard only making 500 in this scheme
450 sold next order coming in gonna be gray .
Doesn’t look like it’s a very good model
Anything that can get along in those conditions is a fine model
that’s true
