Everything looks so easy and obvious. Until tomorrow, when I'll take my 5x5 only to realize I've forgotten everything from the video.
nowymail i feel ya 🤣
Agreed😂

sooooooo true
Take a screenshot and write on it how to do the case and when it comes up just try to remember or take a look at the screenshot that is what I do
hahaha me also
Timestamps of captions so that I can easily look it up when I come back
0:26 Make centers efficiently
2:53 Special cases for centers (various center patterns, especially for the 3rd/4th center)
4:47 Last 2 centers algo (especially how to handle the last 3 pieces)
7:07 Flipping an edge in a back slot
8:29 Make multiple edges (insert/replace in a way that another edge will be paired)
9:04 M' U2 M (insert the flipped center piece to pair the edge)
10:19 Rely on your dominant hand
thank you you're sexy asf

Thank you, Also Why Isn't this the top comment?!
thank very muito per um br de portugal boliviano
Hey that’s his job.
This was a great explanation for last 2 centers! I had not taken the time to learn those cases yet but this will help.
3:30 "Um ignore this corner it came from somewhere else..."
Corner: *silent sobbing*
Lol
Nice
Haha
Lol
why did this make me laugh so much
YES! Been waiting for this for a long time! Thanks so much J Perm :D
Really Helpful J perm! I had no idea of these cases for the centers....I definetly improved at least 20 seconds with watching this keep up the good work man
Very informative. This video really helped with improving my efficiency on 5x5 and avoiding bad habits.
Excellent video, as always! You've motivated me to improve my 5x5 skills.
This is the best video for how to get faster at 5x5, I was trying to get fast at 5x5, but I just couldn’t, I looked at other videos on how to be sub 2 and none of them helped so I just gave up 5x5, I think that I might get back into because of this video, great work!
im still not sub 3
R u sub 2 already? :d
Verry Help Full, I recommend your channel to anyone who asks on how to get faster.
Since you're taking requests, I have two:
1) how to teach someone to solve using mirIS - this method only uses inverse sexy and its mirror, so it's great to teach someone new IRL because you don't have to write down a bunch of algs and explain notation etc. Just going over how it works and how to explain it to a non cuber could be very helpful!
2) It's a long shot, but a "concise" Heise tutorial would be amazing. Just an overview of how it works like you did with Roux, I'm sure it would get lots of people into it!
Incidentally, your tutorials are literally the best. You've recently motivated me to learn BLD, get back into 4x4 and now 5x5, and to start dabbling in Roux. Thank you
Thanл you, that was helpful!
О, привет
@@MSCuber О, вам всем привет!
Very good tips! I'll put them in practice!
I just ordered a Wushuang, and now I have this video to watch :)
Very valuable video
Really great tutorial!
Nice video!

great video thanks
Great tutorial video .I am fan of you.
thanks :)
Really helpful ! Thanks a lot :)
Wow definitely will be using those last 2 center tips
Omg I just learned how to solve a 5 by 5 and this is very helpful!
THANK YOU SO MUCH
Really appreciate your video. The last 2 centers are really useful, and the dominant hand tip is something I don't do a lot, would probably try to switch. I have been stagnating at 1:30 for almost a year now, recently decided to spend an entrie week to practice 5x5. For tip #6 I do E R2 E' R2 (or similar things) a lot. I'm a Yau 5 user.
same im a yau 5 lol
Nice vid!
Wow amazing vid
Thanks!
4:18 You could also move the bottom 4 pieces out of the way, do Rw' and bring them back
So Cool!
That's awesome!
So many Amazing tips in this video I’m lost lol
7:50 when you take out edge from back slot and put it into the front to flip it, you also put upper-back edge into the back slot. So if this edge was completed as in this video, you will occasionally destroy it.
i noticed the same thing. if you want to flip a back edge like in the video, make sure that when you take it out, it is replaced by an unsolved edge.
Helpful tips Thanku
Thank j perm it's.realy help me. To learn how to solve 5×5👌👌👌
i am study this viedo and make my speed on 5 by 5 cube amazing bro
When you want to start 5 by 5 and your favorite CZcamsr uploads video

Thanks bro
I got my 5x5 exactly 10 days ago. My first time was 18 minutes. I'm down to a 5 minute ao5. You're the best, Jperm!

Wow fabulous
Just in time I need to make cutoffs in 5x5 at a comp in 3 weeks

Do you think you'll ever do something such as a 6x6 Week 1 or 6x6 tips and tricks video?
I hated 5x5 and never solved it but thats changed now. Thanks
6:05 I have a way to remember that case😅
okey, this was usefull, thanks
Nice video, you should try Hoya 5😉
You helped me get my time down to sub 3
that actually helped me to cut my time by 30 seconds!
You should make a video for 4x4 and 5x5 parity algs
Try setting it to half speed if you want to watch the moves more closely. As an added bonus, you'll get to hear a really drunk guy explaining complex cubing technique!
Good tips thanks :)
L2C tips are great! I have trouble doing shortcuts from memory.. now it's all logic easy moves no need to memorize algs.
for me, edge pairing tips not very useful as i prefer more moves over time to think and figure out how to do shortcuts and solve more without risking a wrong turn.. anyway I'm a beginner at cubing in general not just 5x5.
Very good
Thanks!
Omg thanks
I'm really new to 5x5, (I take like 15 min to solve) and I think this video will help me
7:31 That's kinda a new one haha depends if you watch Tuesday Tips or not. It's less moves but you lose the flexibility as edges become solved in the (U) and (D) layers.
I have so much to learn...
Will these ideas work on bigger cubes?
I've never been this early btw thank you this really helps
I have been enlightened to 5x5 😲
I have a question: at 6:05 is there a reason you didn't go M' U2 M to get your last 3x1, then insert with U Rw U2 Rw'? Is the M slice just too awkward?
hey jperm i am sub 20 on my 3x3 can i get into bigger cubes 4x4 5x5
etc or whether there is a time limit
5:52 I use way to finish the bar and it doesn't require that many moves. From that angle, you can do a U' to do an Rw U Rw'. Then, your yellow bar should be paired up.

J perm what's your 5x5 pb? have you ever got sub 1 minute?
could you do a avanced/intermiediate 5x5 tips just as incredible as this one?
i have been solving 3x3 for several years now.
and tried to discover how to solve the 5x5 on my own.
i did. but it takes me about an hour per solve.
thanx to this vid, i got it down to 20 minutes.
Please do some unboxing to cube
pls make video on how to solve a 7x7
what should u do if u get a H in the centers while solving with the given points.
Would you do a YAU 5 tutorial?
new thumbnail!
Can you make a video on hoya for 5x5?
That’s a lotta 3 move cases!
I use a YuChuang V2 M 5x5. is it a good one?
I’m learning 5x5 although I don’t have one just to help my non cuber Friend solve his cube
How do you set up your Aochuang?
Nice vid...oh tips please
What would time do you think is best for edges? I solve centers in 20-30 seconds and then edges in 35-45 seconds, and I average around 1:35. How could I get my edge times down to around 25-30 seconds?
i dont use redux so im not sure about splits. try to see if you're worse at first 8 edges or last 4 edges, cause those are pretty different.
for f4e you can try to store them all in the same layer, so that the next 4 edges are done with easier look ahead. i personally never used this for redux, but my redux times are really inconsistent probably due to look ahead (i average around 1:25 with redux).
for l4e, try to avoid slice+flip+slice unless it solves 2 wings at once. if you bring the back 2 edges into the top layer, you can do slice+insert+slice which almost always solves 2 wings at once.
J Perm thanks! I've got a comp coming up and I' trying to get sub 1:20 on 5x5, so everything helps
I broke my first 5x5, but I been getting back to cubing recently and I decided
That I want to get fast at 5x5 so I ordered one and I’m now waiting for it to arrive
Can you upload a full tutorial on yao5?
What are your time splits for 5x5 redux for sub 1:30
Do you think Hoya is a good method for 5x5? I currently average around 2:00 with it, and I don’t know if I should switch to reduction.
I think you should switch
THANK YOU VERY MUCH:DDDDSDDDDD!!!!!!
Top 20!!!
Thanks j perm I am now solving it under 40 seconds
Wtf.. Seriously?
Can you upload a Video about 2x2 Fridrich method? I did it on my channel !
L2C on 5x5 is literally the worst. TYSM for the tips
Hey Dylan should I learn the 5×5's last 2 edges algorithms to get faster ??
yes, I learned them one at a time (then just practice solves and learn another one much later) since they're long and harder to remember
Which 5*5. Is best can you tell which
J perm pls make a full reduction 5x5 tutorial.
I have a Yau and reduction tutorial in one video
Can U please explain all the shapes for 5x5 please
