- The months of May and June are the BEST times to target JUMBO LAKE TROUT on spoons. Angler's that spoon fish feel every aspect of a Big Fish battle. The Saiff Charter Fleet targets DINOSAUR Lake Trout with over-sized spoons. In this video segment, we are trolling with PRO KING MAGNUM spoons. We are fishing downrigger patterns along the structure at the "Shipping Lanes" in Eastern Lake Ontario. This is a known haunt for BIG FISH of every description. I have to tell you Bill, I have learned so much in the past two years from watching your videos on how to fish for Browns, King Salmon and Lake Trout. In the last year I have boated well over 100 fish simply by following your tactics. From force-feeding browns, fishing the icebox for kings, pattern building, watching the winds and searching for structure. I have tied all of my own fly leaders and meat rigs from watching your videos as well. I hope you know how much of an incredible resource you are for us novice fisherman. I am truly thankful for the amount of information that you freely give on a daily basis and this latest video is no exception.
If you ever get your e-commerce site up and running you will make a fortune. Every time you mention a lure or a type of fishing equipment, I write it down and find a store to purchase it from. I hope to be able to purchase them from you someday as a thank you.

I spoke with you this morning, those white caps turned into 3-5ft waters lol we had a blast. Only brought 1 5lb king but if was the biggest my friend had ever caught. Thank you for the information in these videos and everything you do.

Michigan Stinger never sponsored us...... We use what works for our clients. We are still fishing Michigan Stingers all the time....... These are just a great (large sized) spoon for taking these big trout! I do have to admit that when Michigan Stinger was sold, nobody ever bothered to tell us? I have probably sold more Michigan Stinger Spoons for that company than any man alive (I'm happy to do it because they really work) but I would have thought that the previous owners or the new owners would have reached out to us? This industry is full of "Wannabe Fisherman" that stand around with their hands out looking for free product but never bring anything to the table..... I am proud of the fact that we have never done that..... If it works, you see it! If it doesn't - you will never see it in one of our teaching segments. We want to show and teach things that angler's can "Take to the Bank!" We do this for a living but weekend anglers need to make every dollar count. Hopefully, our videos help other anglers make intelligent buys and fish more productively.
